The lost secrets of Nikola Tesla (on his birthday)

Gordon sends -
tesla
A mystery surrounds Tesla. His contributions, which were great and many, have descended into obscurity. Why?
Nikola Tesla, a Serbian scientist born in Croatia, was a humanitarian, a US patriot, and yes, an unbridled genius, though he has often been personified as the quintessential mad scientist. Perhaps his only real misdeed was being born ahead of his time.
Tesla’s idea was to be able to provide power equally to all people on Earth. At this time there are 2 to 3 billion people on this planet that can’t go home at night and turn on the lights. The people that can’t are living in poverty.
Tesla saw that there was a division between the haves and the have-nots. And he was determined to make electrical power equally available to all people on this planet… as a gift.
This is the story of the man that time forgot and the US government which did no justice to him.

TAP - There is a knowing look on the faces in some of these photos.

UPDATED - Ched Evans sent down.
The vendetta against Welsh football continues. Ched Evans is sent down for five years for rape. The woman clearly consented. First Gary dies. Then Verheijen goes quoting 'destructive games'. Now a stitch-up for Ched Evans. The pattern in events is obvious enough.

UPDATE 1st March 2012. Louise Speed did not attend the Gary Speed memorial match! His kids were there. His parents. His sister. All his friends and ex team mates. Very strange why his wife stayed away. Comment from Welshman.

UPDATE - 27th February 2012. Gary Speed's assistant (Raymond Verheijen) has resigned from his post as Wales manager 5 days before he was due to take charge of the team in Gary's memorial match. From comment - anonymous.

Guardian article on his resignation

EXTRACT - Verheijen posted on his Twitter account: "Earlier today I have informed the FAW I will resign. Have enough of their political & destructive games. Very sad day.

"Very proud to be part of Fifa's most improved team in 2011. Would like to thank the players and fans for an amazing journey."

TAP It still sounds like a powerful elite doing their best to stop a resurgent Welsh team from breaking onto the world scene.

COMMENT 5th February 2012- Don't you think if you knew your husband was threatening to kill himself and you were "locked out of the house" you would try ANYTHING to get back in - sod waking the kids. Smash a window maybe?

Comment 3rd Feb 2012.

He wanted out – of the relationship, not out of life, well not initially anyway.

This indescribable tragedy could so easily have been prevented. What you want at 15 years old is not always what you want at 40. Things and people change, and the background to this situation was an enormous amount of pressure; his wife wasn't happy about the amount of time his job took up. This created arguments between them, which had been going on for a very long time, since he went into coaching and management in Sheffield, before getting the Wales manager’s job.

Some terrible things must have been said to him for him to become that low and extremely distressed. His state of mind was the culmination of arguments going back a long, long time and whatever was said during those arguments. It's not clear that he actually committed suicide, it could have been a cry for help (or even plea to his wife he couldn't cope with the hassle and pressure anymore) that went wrong. When you marry a footballer, you buy into the culture, reap the rewards: nice lifestyle, etc - but can't have your cake and eat it. Who paid for the designer gear and beauty treatments? Something has to give. Players go on to be pundits, trainers, managers because they love the game and giving up time is part and parcel of this.

The button was pushed just too far and someone knew just what buttons to push; emotional blackmail, threats of what would happen if he left, of not seeing the children any more, of being taken to the cleaners financially for starters, which led to guilt and more stress, more pressure, the vicious circle going on and on. So he would have wanted to spend more time in Cardiff, more time taking the kids out when he was at home to avoid it all and it all goes on and on again.

I am sure the children would rather have two parents apart and not fighting than one single mother and a deceased father. His parents looked completely destroyed and I feel so sorry for them and the two children. I just wish he could have told his parents what was going on and received the support necessary to prevent the eventual outcome. Unfortunately this was a very close-knit, enmeshed, extended family and whilst that is a positive, it also comes with the paradox of talking about the problems becoming even more difficult. It becomes more and more constricting and the way out receding further and further away.

Will love you always G and wish I had a time machine that went back to 2008 because I would sure as hell change things.
Anonymous.

TAP Nicely put, anonymous. I am sure we all share your sentiments. It is just a little bit worrying in putting this topic to bed that key information accepted by the court was clearly not likely to be true. Many still instinctively feel that Gary killing himself is extremely unlikely. The lack of truth in much of the evidence presented at the hearing hardly does a lot to remove those doubts. It is clear that much of the communication going on was taking place by mobile phone.

We know from other fora that that means it was without question in the hands of newspaper proprietors and any others willing to pay the price of receiving such information. The knowledge that Gary was alone at night, bar the kids, plus the knowledge that he had threatened suicide, could open up an opportunity for anyone who was, for example worried about coming revelations in his autobiography, or who he was refusing to cooperate with as regards match-fixing.

I would love to abandon such thoughts, but we all know that people who text imagine themselves alone and secure in their exchanges, but they are not necessarily. In fact they could be opening themselves up to attack and passing over crucial information to anyone who wants to intervene in the situation, without realising it.

I would like to know was Gary safely in the house when Louise drove off. Or did he see her off and was about to walk in to the house when she left, unseen by her. Did he die at sometime in the morning, or was he dead by 1 am? I see no substantial enquiry going on into the events that took place, such as could put these kind of thoughts to bed. More's the pity.

Update 2.2.2012Comment from other post -

I really want to know the truth about this because LS's stories seem bizarre and fanciful.

I've been reading reports and am speechless to read the following two conflicting reports from two different newspapers: PARAMEDIC Michael Allan told how he and a colleague rushed to the Speed home after a call that there was "a male" hanging. He said: "I was familiar with the address and we got there as quickly as we could. We could see the garage doors were open and could see Louise standing by the garage. I went into the garage and saw the patient at the back. He was lying face down at the bottom of the stairs with his face toward the bottom of the stairs. We established he had last been seen at 1am and it was apparent that he was not breathing. The defibrillator showed no heart rate. Despite the low chances of survival, we gave him CPR for 20 minutes but there was no output. His face was blue and he was cold." From the Daily Mail reporting - "She cut her husband down on the instructions of the emergency services, but paramedics were unable to revive him". She confirmed at the inquest that this is what she did. Why then did she leave him face down at the bottom of the stairs???????

One would have thought she'd have rolled him onto his back, to check for signs of life or attempt CPR? In much the same way as a female paramedic would have done I expect? I could manage this with a 6ft bloke, what was going on??? The more I read the more distressed I get.

I would not have been found "standing by the garage" either if it had been me. I would have been totally distraught, beside myself, I don't really know what to say or think any more and I wish I could stop crying.

RIP sweetheart, you deserved far, far better than this. Louisa xx

Gary Speed sent suicidal text in days leading up to death. Report by Lauren Riley, Liverpool News. Published Mon 30 Jan 2012 15:06, Last updated: 2012-01-30.

LINK

Former Everton footballer Gary Speed sent his wife a text message in the days leading up to his death "talking in terms of taking his life", an inquest heard today. Speed, 42, who played for Sheffield United, Everton, Newcastle, Leeds and Bolton, was found hanged at his Cheshire home last November by his wife Louise. Mrs Speed said that although he did describe taking his own life, he "dismissed" it because of his two sons.

The coroner recorded a narrative verdict of death by hanging as he could not be satisfied whether Mr Speed's death was an accident or him taking his own life. Police confirmed at the inquest, held at Warrington Coroner's Court, that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Mrs Speed also revealed how the two "had words" on the morning of his death after attending a party. Following the argument, Mrs Speed went for a drive at around 1.15am, but when she arrived back home she could not get into their house so slept in the car until around 6am. She then went around the house looking for Mr Speed. Mrs Speed began crying when she recalled finding her husband in the garage.

No note or message was left by the former Wales manager.

Mrs Speed also told the coroner how her husband did not like being in the limelight, and how his travelling for work created quite a strain on their relationship. Mr Speed's mother, Carol, described receiving the news of her son's death as "the worst moment of my life."

Alan Shearer, a former team mate and friend of Mr Speed, told the inquest how there had been issues between Mr Speed and his wife but they were "being sorted out". He said: "I was shocked when I heard of his death, the last person out of I'd expect this to happen to, I still can't believe it."

Tributes poured in for Speed following his death, and many speculated that his death was due to a secret battle with depression.

TAP It seems fairly conclusive. The verdict was not conclusive, but the details of the story appear to support the suicide version. Much of the speculation on this blog seems to be misplaced, although there are two aspects to that. The demons in Gary's mind, if it was a suicide, had to come from somewhere, and his experiences as a young footballer at the hands of known paedophiles could still be a factor in his death.

The story is still odd, though. He threatened suicide by text message. That would almost certainly have been picked up by other people such as journalists, who are able to access his mobile phone. If someone had been looking for an opportunity to cause his demise, a texted suicide threat would create the perfect cover story.

It is possible he locked is wife out of the house, and then committed suicide. But......

Why didn't she have a full set of keys? She would presumably normally let herself in and out of her own house, and have all necessary keys to do so. That part of the story seems strange. Why couldn't she gain access to the house til the morning, and what changed at 6 am so she could get in at 6 am? If Gary was dead, who let her in - one of the boys? Not many teenagers I know get up at 6 am!

The lack of a suicide note, when he knew he was abandoning his young sons, is also odd. He had considered suicide, said Louise, in a single mobile text, but said he wouldn't because of his kids. I am still not 100% satisfied with the story, myself. And apparently neither was Louise, or the coroner. The Police say there were no suspicious circumstances. What was the information in their possession which decided them to not investigate at the time of Gary's death?

Anonymous COMMENT - METRO. "Mr Rheinberg said Speed could have 'nodded off' while sitting with a rope around his neck on the stairs in his garage." Of course he could... happens all the time.

Welshman sends - Wales manager Gary Speed's widow has told his inquest his job strained their marriage and they had an "exchange of words" the night before he died.

His wife Louise told the hearing in Warrington she then went for a drive, but could not get back into the house.

She spent the night in the car and in the morning found his body hanging in the garage at their home near Chester.

A narrative verdict was recorded after the hearing was told of the 42-year-old ex-Premier League player's final hours.

Four days earlier Speed sent his wife a text talking "in terms of taking his life", but she said she had dismissed it because of their children.

Mrs Speed said he did not leave a note. Det Insp Peter Lawless said his computer and phone were checked for a note, and none was found.

His friend, the former England captain Alan Shearer, who was with him the day before he was found dead, said he had become aware there were issues between the couple.

The hearing was told by the Welsh national team's GP, Dr Mark Ridgewell, that Speed showed no signs of stress and depression.

Dr Bob Muggleton, the medical officer at Sheffield United - the club Speed managed before taking on the Wales job - told the inquest in Warrington that he had worked with him until 2010 and no mental health issues were raised during that time.

The inquest was told about a dinner party hosted by a friend of Speed the night before he died, when he was in good spirits.

Speed had been pushed in the pool with his clothes on, along with other men, and he had tried to push everyone else in scenes of good fun.

He had also been talking of booking a Christmas holiday to Dubai.

Robert Bateman, the taxi driver who took the Speeds home, said everything had seemed normal and they were "as normal as they always are".

The inquest was told Speed had alcohol in his blood, just over the UK drink-drive limit of 80mg.

Anonymous COMMENT - louise's drive could possibly have been nothing unusual, if, for example, she was having an affair, as many people have suggested she was, with duncan ferguson. The row between louise and gary was not noticeable to their usual taxi driver, or their friends at the party. If she was in the habit of making night time excursions, this would also have been known to people who were looking for an opportunity to silence gary, simply by tracking text messages. what with the suicide threat, and a known moment of vulnerability in their schedule, an assailant or assailants could have decided this was the perfect opportunity.

Duncan Ferguson of Everton FC in 2008.

TAP The story of Louise going for a drive and not being able to get back into the house really doesn't stack up. When there is an element in a story that doesn't make sense, that gives a clue that there could still be more to this than has yet come out.

ANONYMOUS What I can't understand is the media records that Louise speed went to outside toilet at 6am in the morning after spending night in car and that is when she noticed keys to garage and shed we're missing. Now then if you knew there was keys to the garage in that toilet wouldn't you of thought she would of went for them when she returned from her little drive out to let herself into garage not sleep outside all night in car. Also why go around to back of garage why not just knock on front door or ring doorbell none of her story adds up to me.

WELSHMAN comments -

At the time, I remember Louise Speed saying she "couldn't understand it because they hadn't even argued". Now all of a sudden, there was quite a big bust up and she stormed out of the house and he locked her out? Did she really sleep in the car? Or had she gone somewhere all night and only came back at 6am? And a bit off point, but it seems she went for a drive after drinking?

ANONYMOUS Digital Spy have pulled a thread discussing this topic.... someone doesn't like people discussing that Louise's story just doesn't add up....

whatever it is,it stinks to high heaven.

GOD BLESS YOU GARY SPEED.

UPDATE 11th January 2012.
From comment -
Story on BBC website today about FIFA warning of the risk of players being killed by criminals involved in match fixing.

EXTRACT - Fifa is concerned for the lives of players approached by match-fixers, warning that they could pay the "ultimate price".

It claims governments should be wary of the presence of criminal organisations in fixing and the "staggering" sums of money involved.

Chris Eaton, head of security at Fifa, said: "We are very concerned about the safety of players [and] officials.

"There is anecdotal evidence that some players have been killed."

He added: "Match-fixing is all about stealing money. It destroys the lives and careers of many people. Governments should be interested because the amount of money is truly staggering.

"What are those criminal organisations doing? They are spending it on other criminal activities. They use money for power and power escalation.

"Unfortunately, because of the very nature, they can very quickly accumulate a large amount of money."

Fifa, football's governing body, will open a hotline for whistleblowers in February and offer a temporary amnesty for players who admit to fixing and give evidence.

Was Gary approached by the match-fixing gangs, and he refused to talk to them? It's possible. This was an earlier theory on this post. If they killed him to show other managers what might happen to them if they don't fix matches as requested, that would provide an explanation for his death.

That would not exclude other possibilities - that he was trying to come to terms with the earlier abuse he suffered at the hands of Barry Bennell, and he was going to make revelations in his autobiography, which was partly written and in progress. Criminals would also be involved in paedophile procurement, and would not want the industry exposing.

UPDATE 8th January 2012

HETT writes today -

Does someone so well-known really have the guts to name names?

Former Child Star Corey Feldman says: Paedophilia is rampant in Hollywood.

'I will reveal the names of TWO Hollywood paedophiles that abused me,' says Corey Feldman

Daily Mail follows the story.

Corey says that a lot of people in Hollywood think they are above the law, and it's got to stop. His friend died from drugs, he says, and the drugs were a way to cope with the fact he was raped by the movie moguls.

TAP - Let's hope Corey's not the next Gary Speed. One theory about Gary is that he was about to speak out about his abuse at the hands of footballing pedophiles when he was a young player. His autobiography was being written, as he said on his website. He was going to reveal in full all the reasons for the career choices he made. Then his strange and unexplained death occurred.

UPDATE 28.12.2011 On Boxing day, The Press started to admit there is more to this story. The Times, copied verbatim in The Daily Mail, writes -

In its leader, headlined: ‘Untold story’, The Times says: “If this awful event had taken place, say, a year ago, it is quite likely that we would know a good deal more about it. More of Mr Speed’s story would have emerged, and with it, perhaps, an enhanced understanding of his motives.

“But, as it is, we - including this newspaper - know very little, possibly a great deal less than there is to know.

“In the past, tabloids would......

TAP They are using this to put pressure on the Leveson Enquiry, and justify the paucity of their reporting of the case. They know they have lost ground with the public by not reporting, and they are showing some kind of jealousy against bloggers like The Tap where we have found out some information about Gary's past life and written about it. Hundreds of commenters have sent in leads which we have followed up. The role of bloggers is entirely dismissed by The Times (as per usual) - yet if it wasn't for bloggers like us, I doubt they would even be mentioning their own awful performance, let alone try to justify it.

They still haven't correctly reported the findings of the official enquiry into Princess Diana's death three years on. For that they have no excuse at all. The enquiry found she was 'unlwfully killed' and they said the paparazzi were nowhere near the crash. What did The Times report (and all other media including The Express)? They said it was an accident caused by the paparazzi....

Why should we trust the media?

We don't.

Gary Speed's death is still inexplicable, and still unexplained. If it was a suicide as the media says (the Police merely said they would not be investigating the case with no explanation at all), why didn't he leave a note to his family? If he did leave a note, why haven't they reported the contents?

These questions will not be going away.

Gary was placed in the hands of a known paedophile operator and abuser of young footballers at aged ten. There has been no reporting of this fact. He was writing an autobiography, and his co-writer says that some chapters are complete. On his website he says that he was going to reveal the true reasons he made the decisions he made in his career.

He was laughing and chatting with Alan Shearer the day before he died, arranging dates when they would go on holiday together. He was talking about his sons. He didn't seem like a man who was going to commit suicide. People instinctively know something is wrong, as they did with Diana's death. We know the media won't tell us the truth if the powerful prefer the truth be kept secret. Let's not waste time listening to their justifications for deceiving Britain, which they do all the time. That's why we blog, because we don't trust the media. The Times doesn't like the competition.
There wouldn't be any if we could find out the truth by reading their acres of newsprint.

Keep sending in your stories, readers, for which we thank you. I hope we get more on Gary Speed eventually, as we did finally with David Kelly and Diana, even though it took many years. You won't hear anything on the TV, or read anything from the dead tree sellers, though. Revealing truth is not their business. The creation of narrative (adjusted information) is.

To hear their whining, you'd think they were more than fire-lighters and fish and chip wrappers. They are not and never will be. Think of the money you could save by getting rid of them, and your TV set. There are now alternative media, where news gets handled more openly and fairly. Millions are taking note, and millions more will be doing so. Writing 'mea non culpa' leaders isn't going to change a thing. The internet is nothing more than people talking to each other. If newspapers can't compete with that, it's time they started again from scratch.

Times leader.

Independent report on Barry Bennell - footballing paedophile predator.

The anonymous comment which notified The Tap of The Times/Daily Mail pleading for sympathy...

It seems that the obvious absence of investigative journalism in the wake of Gary Speed’s death is finally up for discussion in the media: http://thedrum.co.uk/news/2011/12/26/times-voices-concern-over-lack-mainstream-reporting-gary-speed%E2%80%99s-death Whether the press was truly ‘shackled’ by Leveson, or if it censored itself based on an actual plot to expose private details of his life, I wonder if we will ever know.

Another comment 28.12.2011
Surprised to see that one of coach Barry Benell's victims was abused in the home of Crewe manager, Dario Gradi. Further Google entries describe Gradi as a 'kiddie fiddler'!

UPDATE 11.17 am 6th December 2011. The co-author of the book, John Richardson, states that the book was not being proceeded with, as Gary told him it wasn't the right time to do it. Funny that, as Gary's own website was quite specific that he was proceeding with the book with some enthusiasm. See below.

From Daily Express - John Richardson writes Being asked to co-write his book, considering his popularity within the media and his standing in football’s society, was a huge honour. Typically, it was placed on hold because he felt he hadn’t done enough in the game and wanted to prove himself as a manager.

UPDATE 6th December 2011 6 a.m. - a comment According to his website, he was in the middle of writing two books (one an autobiography). (http://garyspeed.com/book.asp)

I am in the process of writing two books, the first will be my autobiography where, for the first time i'll be revealing the true detail of my career and the choices i made. Fortunate to play with and against some of the best players in the modern international game, i'll be giving an insight into their personalities and the person behind the player.

TAP This could well have been a factor in his death, and could offer clues as to how and why he died. Where is the manuscript/file? It should be in the possession of Louise. What will she decide to do with it, if it hasn't been stolen, or wiped?

This was the only ad on Gary's website. What might that be telling us?

UPDATE A.M. 5th December 2011
Comments overnight reveal a new angle. Was Gary a victim of paedophiles, starting to reveal what he knew?

Jermaine Micheal said...
On a website Rateyourplayer someone has posted a video showing a Dispatches report about Gary Speed potentially being molested as a kid. Have a look. It makes you think what kind of people are out there in the world.

Here's the clip - (dropped off in comments)

UPDATE - 17th December 2011

Comments below (from 210 onwards) reveal that a case in the High Court was stopping revelations of a sexual nature from three defendants against one claimant demanding a super injunction to silence them. The commenters suggest that the case has something to do with Gary Speed's death. They suggest that Gary was the claimant demanding the superinjuction. What if, in fact the assumptions made by the commenters are wrong, and Gary was in fact one of the three defendants, being barred from making sexual revelations? If he was about to go public on the paedophile abuse of young footballers, as he had suffered as a young footballer, that might be enough for someone who wanted him stopped.

His mind coaching from Jureshi would be a key part of his building up enough determination to take this on and fight back against the abuse he suffered as a boy.

Text of my reply in comments below -

Why assume Gary is the claimant? He could equally be a defendant, if he was involved at all. That would fit with the possibility he was exposing former paedophile abuse.

If you are looking to support suicide theory, he would be the claimant. If murder, he would fit better as the defendant.

His autobiography was in the process of being written. Maybe a group of famous victims were revealing what happened to them as young boys, and TPTB wanted the information stopped.

Here is the case report from the court which the commenters are diuscussing.

I work for a newspaper (printing side) it would have been totally impossible for a newspaper to decide in the early hours not to run a story.
Most papers have been printed and are on the way to distributors by 2.30- 3.am.
Why can't people just accept that Gary committed suicide without a big reason.
Why must a reason always be found? Sometimes people lose it in a split second of uncontrolled emotion or madness!
I met Gary when he was a player and manager at Sheffield united And yes he was one in a million and a true gentleman but he was still human, forget his past and what he had and understand that we all can have a crazy or scary moment and react without reason.

. If Gary was molested as a ten year old, he could have been threatening to reveal more in the media, and the Despatches was just the beginning of an attempted campaign against the paedophiles.

This is the Achilles heel of the powerful elites that dominate the world. They all seem to have an interest in paedophilia. It's the recurring theme that won't go away, with Royalty, politicians (Dunblane/Hamilton) and central bankers. They see it as their right to acquire the children they desire.

This could explain why powerful people would want to murder Gary - to silence him. That would be a lot more of a possibility than him being worried about being gay - if in fact he was. On that front there are only rumours. Here is some stronger evidence of which way to look to find an explanation.

If Louise knows anything about what Gary was doing exposing paedophiles operating in football, she would now keep very quiet indeed. Is this what her strange tweets were about - looking to find the good in humanity? It would fit. She was aware of a great evil, and was trying to rationalise it.

Her Twitter account is now closed.

UPDATE 3rd December 2011 The inquest into Gary’s mystery death will take place next month. (Daily Mirror)

UPDATE - 2nd December 2011 5 am in comments.

The below content copied from the forum is rubbish. It has been printed in various papers, that he and his wife hosted a dinner party - two close friends, who apparently stayed the night.

TAP That makes more sense than the party being hosted elsewhere, as stated previously by a commenter. The MSM had nothing about the party yesterday. I take comments from all comers on here. The truth is not going to come out in the MSM, you can rest assured, so you have to look at all the sources that are available. I still wonder what did Gary do first thing each day? Go out for a jog like many sportsmen, or have a workout zone somewhere?

NEW INFORMATION sent in anonymously in comments 1st December 2011. 7 pm -

Don't know where this information came from or if it is valid - copied from a forum, link below

"The facts as they stand are these -

1. GS appeared fine on football focus.
2. Following a conversation with a co presenter it is understood that GS was going to a family get together on Saturday night.
3. At said get together GS and family arrive as normal.
4. GS found hanged at 7am by spouse when she arrived home.

Between steps 3 and 4 something went wrong. Wife and children stayed at the get together. GS did not.
Everything else is just speculation.
Did GS and wife argue?
Did GS receive text or phone call and leave party to deal with it?

Everything is nothing more than speculation and the only person that knows why GS is dead is GS.

(TAP
Would a family party really go on until 7 am? I could accept that G left and went off to meet someone late at night on his own, and that that might have been the last time that his family saw him alive. But it needs confirmation.)

I would add -
5) Gary arranged to see Alan Shearer next weekend at Shearer`s home.
6) Gary arranged to take the family to Dubai for Christmas where they would visit an ex football player.
7) He was arranging with Alan Shearer for a holiday next year in Portugal."

From a thread on David Icke

TAP - There must be witnesses from the party who could confirm these details, or not.

EARLIER UPDATE 11.19 am 28th Nov 2011 - Was it suicide caused by media intrusion into his private life?
This came into comments below -

TAP - "...The commenter suggesting Gary was about to be outed by The Daily Star might offer an explanation for a suicide. But it would be nice to have a bit more to go on."

COMMENTER REPLIED - My explanation:
My background is in the field of private and commercial investigations specialising in Sports and Media. Includes a number of football clubs, agents, players and their lawyers. Contacts through all aspects of the audio and visual media...(not print).

Mr. Speed's sexuality has been known and kept under the radar for years. Our opinion is it is his OWN private business.

However, the void left by the NoW has left the door open to some other upstart print news media to fill that gap. If he had not been the Wales national coach I doubt that print media would have been interested as it would not sell newspapers.

However, with his MBE and current international management status (where he wasn't doing too badly) Mr Speed became fair game and newsworthy to them. Maybe they just wanted to crush his nice guy image.

There is still stigma associated with 'gay' players in football. Not necessarily from the clubs as we have found clubs are mega-supportive to their 'gay' players and allow them to be themselves.

A number of full England football players, Premier League players are of the Gary Speed mould. Polite, nice people and below the media radar.

Many younger players are not bothered about hiding themselves away when out socialising as they are not yet national household names nor spouting out telling people how to live wholesome lives, unlike some of the seasoned players, over 25.

TAP Maybe we are starting to get some answers, which could put our minds at rest about this shocking news.

The media operate for commercial reasons, I am sure, but also they can be politically directed. Why is it good business to trash a hero's status? It must be better for business to create heroes and sell news for the positives they represent. It is still possible Gary was unwilling to get involved in the more corrupt aspects of World Cup football, and they decided to go for his reputation for that reason.

This could be more a Hugh Grant scenario. Their reputations were getting too big. The guys weren't interested in the corruption of their profession for political ends, so they get trashed by exposure. If so, sadly Gary couldn't take the idea.

UPDATED VIEW 29th November 2011. Did Gary have a morning routine?

ORIGINAL POST WHEN NEWS CAME IN

BBC pundit Robbie Savage pays an emotional tribute to his former Welsh international team-mate Gary Speed, who has been found dead aged 42.

Speed with widow Louise

The Strictly Come Dancing star reveals how his friend watched him in the programme recently and how the two men spoke only the day before the Wales manager's death.

"I loved him as a friend, his wife is beautiful, he had a lovely family, he'd do anything for anybody.

"I idolised him, he was one of my heroes in life, he's been there for me, someone I spoke to every week.

"Everybody loved Gary Speed. He was such a good-looking guy, he had everything. Why has this happened?

Wales manager Gary Speed, who was found dead at his home, aged 42
"When I was a young kid going into the Wales squad he took me under his wing. He helped me so so much and then, just three weeks ago, he was in the Strictly [Come Dancing] crowd in the front row supporting me.

"When a lot of people finish football, they really don't want to know you, but he was there for me all the way through.

"After my routine I high-fived him in the front row and his face, his beaming smile, this guy had everything, a beautiful family. He had a caring, loving family and was doing great at his job. Why has this happened?

"It's the most incredible news I've heard in my lifetime. I spoke to Gary on the phone yesterday morning and we had a good chat because he's a huge fan of Strictly.

"When he was in the crowd we went up to the bar afterwards. He and his wife were in great form. He met everybody and he texted me every week to say good luck.

"He was a larger than life character, he's got a great family, his father Roger travelled all around the world to watch him and he's left behind two beautiful, beautiful boys. It's just so sad."

Robbie Savage was speaking to BBC Radio 5 live

Why would someone with everything to live for kill themselves?

Surely they would leave a note explaining why....There is nothing mentioned about a note.

If he's been killed, who would it be behind it? It can take years for the truth of these situations to come out. What did he know that had to be kept quiet?

Comment from anonymous -
What did Gary Speed know? Who wanted to silence him? This doesn't appear to be politics but who knows... prominent successful people don't just kill themselves. Mass media expect us to believe Welsh Football Team manager Gary Speed did just that.

Luke Donald tweeted -

Very sad news about Gary Speed. I've never suffered from depression but have had family that have. What a horrible horrible illness #RIPGARY

Was it depression?

AndyMitten tweeted

Interviewed Gary Speed in June. Both sat on sofa in his room. He spoke about love for family more than anything. I left room admiring him.

Si Clancy tweet

Very moving interview with Mark Halsey on SSN, talking about how Gary Speed would phone out of the blue when he was going through his chemo.

That's not Gary's chemo, but Halsey's, presumably. There's nothing to explain or make the suicide seem plausible. Yet the world accepts the word of the Police. I don't see it, until there is some corroboration.

jadeee_13
from what people are saying on the news and stuff, Gary Speed seemed fine yesterday! such a shock!

Yes, and very suspicious.

COMMENTS -

I can only think of one reason in the Speed case: Kiss n' Tell blackmail? Must happen often to professional footballers. Speed was a known family man and good person. He might not want his reputation damaged and his family hounded by the media.

Then again, that might not be right. Maybe he had inside info on something and was about to reveal all. Corruption in football? Sexual abuse in football? We look up to football players as heroes so we would like to believe the reason for his death was not selfish.

Telegraph still have their crime correspondent on the story

By Mark Hughes, Crime Correspondent7:39PM GMT 27 Nov 2011
"He was on “great form” according to those there and left the studio after making tentative plans to appear again on the show before Christmas."

"Police were called to Speed’s home in Huntington, Chester, shortly after 7am today. Officers discovered his body and a statement was released indicating that there were “no suspicious circumstances”.

7am in the morning at his home. Shouldn't he be in bed. Where was his wife?

So the scenario is he got out of bed and hung himself.......

TAP

Maybe he was approached about match fixing by a syndicate, and told them to clear off, and threatened to call the Police to dob someone in. Or the people involved wanted games fixing politically as in the World Cup, where referees seem to know the required result before the game starts.

Note this section from The Telegraph article -

Last week Speed travelled to Brussels to attend a fixtures meeting for Wales’s World Cup campaign.

His Saturday had started with a trip to Salford, to the BBC’s new studios, to appear as a guest on Football Focus alongside his former Leeds United team mate Gary McAllister.

Dan Walker, the show’s presenter, said that Speed gave no outwardly sign of any personal turmoil. Instead he spoke about golf and his two sons and even made tentative arrangements to appear on the show next month.

Mr Walker said: “He was on great form, cracking jokes and asking about my family and kids. He was talking passionately about the future. There was absolutely no indication at all.

“He gave me the impression that he was really looking forward to his kids growing up to be really good footballers and Wales qualifying for the World Cup.”

After the show ended, at 1pm, he met up with Match of the Day pundits Alan Shearer, whom Speed had played alongside at Newcastle United, and Mark Lawrenson to watch the early Premier League game between Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers.

Then, just before 3pm, he made the short journey to Old Trafford to watch his former team Newcastle take on Manchester United.

The match finished shortly before 5pm and it is thought Speed travelled back to his home in Chester where, little more than 12 hours later, he was found hanged.

TAP. Who did he meet in Brussels?

If he was murdered, it must have been someone who he let into his house, either a person he knew and was comfortable to let into his house, or someone in Police uniform possibly, who gave a good reason why he had to come in.

If it is suicide, then there must be a note and some evidence pointing in that direction. If it's a murder, the family will no doubt want to keep very quiet about it all, and be left to carry on without any more trauma. If there is a suicide note, we should hear.

BBC - Does his face show stress for a moment as the other commentator talks and he looks at the camera at the end? It looked more like fear or disbelief than depression.

ANONYMOUS COMMENT - Illuminati strike again, my theory is that the illuminati saw his acomplishments as the welsh manager. A member of the illuminarti (a free mason), aproached him asking him 2 turn to the darkside in return of world cup glory in 2014. If you look into it, this seems very possible.

TAP The music industry works that way. You keep onside with Satanism and the dark side hand signals, or you're history. Michael Jackson a case in point. Saying no to the Illuminati is not permitted at high levels. Gary was about to become a big star. Apparent suicide is their stock in trade, along with car crashes, and drug 'accidents'.

Here's an interesting article on a website, written in 2003 by Joe Vialls, questioning the convictions and treatment of Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr.

There's also an interesting comment posted at the bottom of the Icke forum page about an invention that Huntley came up with before his arrest - have a look.

Joe Vialls Report
EXTRACT -

Newmarket

If we go back in the investigation three days, to August 13th, we can find a possible explanation for the police clairvoyance. On that day, a local jogger reported to the police having seen two mounds of recently disturbed ground at Warren Hill in Newmarket. These were thought to be shallow graves, and so must have looked like it. This same jogger had also reported, a week before, having heard child-like screams from this area three hours after the abductions, so that the timing and place are significant. The police had five hours of daylight in which to investigate this site but they spent all night there, in fact thirteen hours, and they didn't emerge until six thirty in the morning, "covered in twigs and soil" as a reporter put it, to announce that these mounds were only badger setts.

However, these mounds surely could not have been badger setts, as these would not be confusable with graves, and nor would it take thirteen hours to find that they were badger setts. Both were recent disturbances, and it is inconceivable that two badger setts or inlets could both have resembled shallow graves. They were 30 metres apart, and this must be too close together for badger setts.

The possibility that these mounds were actually where the police found the bodies would explain where the police acquired the forensic evidence, and why they were able to know that the girls were dead before the public found the bodies at Lakenheath. It would also show that the placing of the bodies at Lakenheath was part of the fraud against Huntley, because this is near the place where Maxine Carr had taken her adopted surname (a lake called The Carr) and where Ian Huntley's father and grandmother lived. This design corresponds with that of the forensic evidence itself, connecting the dead bodies to the defendants in the same way.

The discovery of the bodies at Warren Hill on the 13th of August corresponds with the finding of the coroner, who judged that the bodies had been moved to the woodland at Lakenheath and that the victims almost certainly had not been killed where their bodies were found. If the typical prowler killer had murdered them, they would most certainly have been killed where they were dumped, which site could have been at Warren Hill.

TAP - all links are blocked by Google. Here's the late Joe Vialls' Facebook page -

Joe Vialls (1944 – 17 July, 2005) was a conspiracy theorist and internet journalist based in Perth, Western Australia. His claims that major incidents such as the Port Arthur massacre, terror attacks in Bali and Jakarta and the 2004 Asian Tsunami were the work of Israeli and American secret agents gained a measure of notoriety in Australia, America and Indonesia.

Published work
Joe Vialls self-published a number of books including Deadly Deception at Port Arthur, The Murder of Policewoman Yvonne Fletcher and Lockerbie and the Bombing of Pan Am 103, and was the author of hundreds of internet articles.

Many of Vialls' investigations blamed significant world events - such as the 2004 Asian Tsunami - on joint CIA/Mossad operations, and Vialls maintained in disclaimers on his site that his reports were written in the interest of public safety. In other investigations, Vialls supposedly proved that such esoteric happenings as the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and a scandal involving the wearing of a swastika by Prince Harry were Zionist plots.

NB his name is Vialls not Viallis. Google seems to be trying to get people to get this wrong. If you key Vialls in a search, it brings up Viallis.

Malcolmd writes - At the time that Joe Vialls published his article on Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr back in 2003 I found his most damaging criticism of the show trial was his observation that the two bodies could not have been moved from Huntley's residence to that location immediately adjacent to the Lakenheath air base perimeter fence in his car because the boot was too small to fit the two bodies into.

Also when Huntley appeared on television news programmes he gave no outward signs of being agitated. Just the opposite he was trying to be helpful to the authorities in their investigations. When Huntley appeared in court his demeanour was totally different - that of a drugged junkie. He spent months on remand at Rampton waiting for trial. Vialls opinion was that the two schoolgirls were murdered by a US airforce sergeant who he named who was conveniently flown home to the US during the murder investigation.

I had email correspondence with Joe at the time and made a small contribution to his website fund. He mailed me back and spoke of his many visits to Hamble when he went sailing as a serving member of the Royal Air Force - he listed all the public houses in Hamble as well as the RAFYC. It is my opinion that his terminal illness was induced by those behind the scenes puppet masters who run the world. All his articles I found entirely credible and they stand the test of time. After his death his website remained online for a good three years. All recent links to his writings appear to be questionable.

TAP - August 2002 was the moment all British forces were being mobilised to send to Afghanistan. Were the girls murdered to create a news diversion? The story filled the media for weeks while ships were sailing from ports across the country unreported.

Are we being conditioned to believe that it is perfectly normal for successful people to kill themselves?

Do people really kill themselves from "depression"? Surely it's depression plus a trigger event, financial, relationship, shock etc.

Also, notice how all the photographs picture him with a glum expression? They choose the picture to go with the narrative. Thus it is easy for us to imagine he killed himself. How many smiley photos do they sift through to find the sad ones?

Anonymous said...

My father killed himself. He was depressed for a while but in the period of days leading up to his death he seemed much happier and we all thought that he was moving forward. As it turned out, we believe that the signs of the depression lifting were in fact because he had made his mind up to die, so therefore had resolved his problems.
So, in the very sad and tragic case of Gary Speed, no one knows what demons he was fighting but just because he seemed fine yesterday does not mean that he was indeed fine. I would read it that he had decided what to do and was at peace with his decision.
RIP Gary Speed.

Tapestry said...

Is there any evidence that Gary Speed was suffering from depression?

Anonymous said...

Anon - that is your narrative. You cannot ask the dead whether they had made their mind up. If they had, surely they would not wait.

It's possible in the case of your father things were better but there was a set back.

Thus depressed people are at their most vulnerable when they are feeling better because they believe they are out of it ... when the set back hits, they are double-depressed because they don't want to go through the depression again.

So the scenario is he got out of bed and hung himself.

... was he a sleep walker? The third possibility is that it could have been an accident.

Anonymous said...

It's the kind of death where the Police ought to investigate quite thoroughly, yes no note and no clues from anyone so far as to was suicide probable without ''outside pressures''. It may be his wife can shed some clues in due course?

Tapestry said...

An accidental hanging? How does that work?

If the Police came round after 7 am, that suggests the time he was found by a family member, not the time he was hung.

He must have got up early or been up in the night. Did anyone come to the house? If no one did, then he must have done it himself.

Definitely something amiss about this whole scenario - I know I'm suspicious by nature (with good reason) but something here doesn't add up.

Not one single person anywhere can point to any signs that he was anything other than a really positive guy who relished everything he did.

People who have known him for years
are shocked - despite what you may be told by the Media, there are usually signs.

Will wait and see. Also how come the Police were so quick to declare there were no suspicious circumstances a la Dr Kelly.

It's widely known that if somebody is suffering from depression and decide to do something about it that they often seem elated or "better", it is, as somebody pointed out above because they are happy with their decision. It's very well known, i don't think there's a conspiracy, just a tragedy.

Two scenarios I favour...

1) Auto Erotic Asphyxiation.
2) He came home after the Man United game and found a dear John letter... he's gone nuts and topped himself.

First, in the new video posted above Gary Speed doesn't look elated. He looked pretty much like he always did. Serious, not hurried.

It is a common observation that people are happy before they commit suicide but correlation is not causation - they don't commit suicide because they're happy. We can't ask the dead whether they had already made up their mind.

Many depressed people get happy and don't commit suicide. My theory is that coming out of depression is difficult because you will get sharp up and downs which are perhaps more destructive psychologically than a steady, persistent "down" - if you get what I mean.

"An accidental hanging? How does that work?"

Whilst sleep walking. It may have happened once and I read about it. I suppose it's not a serious suggestion. Just it seems like it was early in the morning. Presumably he went to bed with his wife that night otherwise he would have been found earlier.

That he was found before or around 7am - early for a Sunday - suggests that other people were for some reason up and about at this unusual time. Perhaps his wife waking up and finding her husband not in bed?

Didn't a Welsh national team Rugby player come out as gay in the last few years?

Not giving any credibility to your suggestion, but if it were true it would not be end of career stuff, or necessarily mean ridicule at matches. Probably not, in fact, if a macho sport as Welsh rugby can handle a gay sports star.

The suicide would also not prevent the truth eventually getting out.

Not saying you are wrong, it just doesn't convince.

If and I mean IF the rumours of The Sun outing Gary Speed(RIP)are true then it's entirely possible that that rag will close further destroying Murdoch's death grip on the UK media. As joyous as that may be there is a downside. The Leveson Inquiry is an exercise in Censorship. If the Public disgust is so overwhelming at Newspapers inability to regulate their own behaviour then I'm sure the Government will "kindly" do it for them. And as piss poor as the Tabloids are there are occasional glimpses of a free press but with the a Patrician Government calling the shots we'll be back in the '40's again. God Bless Gary Rest in Peace.

Tapestry said...

There is no evidence at all of any involvement by The Sun as regards outing him, that I have seen or heard. That's trying to fit this story into the main news narrative re Leveson, which is being used as a distraction to keep peoples' attention off real news, such as the debts, and the wars.

Yes, the gay thing is a total red herring. A Welsh rugby star came out as gay. It wasn't a big deal, and this was Welsh rugby. There would have been short term embarrassment. I doubt it would have ended his marriage or career. Anyway, this is just speculation. No newspaper has printed any story. The only basis for the rumour so far is that he was apparently a heterosexual male with a good family.

Anonymous said...

The Welsh rugby player being outed is different. Gary Speed has had a family life for nearly 20 years and if it is suddenly found he has had a gay encounter in the recent past or even been living a double life all the time he was married, the shame would be immense. It will completely change the way people would perceive him as a result, or at least he would think in his mind people would perceive him very differently, and that could be enough to cause anyone to have brain snap.

However, this just a rumour and there is no indication he was gay.

I think this gay stuff could be the official disinfo so we don't question the circumstances of his death. It fits perfectly the official narrative that you can blame the tabloids - which represent the "free press" (they actually are the "feed press").

Besides, if there were already rumours than everyone already knows.

Also, why would he suicide so as to be found by his wife and (possibly) children. If he was embarrassed for them because of his shame, why would he horrify them as well?

It's as though this act was deliberately intended to shock, and he was made an example.

It reminds me a little of Dutchsinse's friend. He was attacked early in the morning.

However, I do find it hard to figure how he could have got out of bed and become apprehended without anyone else noticing. I suppose if you live in a mansion it could be possible.

"Recently retired footballer suffers from depression, why is that so hard for people to understand!"

Multi-millionaire, great house, great family, manager of winning football team in front of massive crowds, everyone wants to know you, everyone likes you, and you still get to kick around the ball on a training pitch with the pros.

That's why I find it hard to understand.

I also find it hard to understand why globalists put deadly fluoride in the water, why Libya - the richest country in Africa - was bombed by NATO back to the stone age and only removed Gadaffi to put Al Qaeda in power, why we are supposed to believe in global warming as the world gets colder, why we allow the privately owned central banks to control the money supply. Etc. That is all very confusing.

Friends within the game and also contacts at the BBC all believe The Daily Star were about to 'out' Gary Stevens. However, it's no new or big news. He was being hound way back in the 1980s and like another footballer he kept his self-control and didn't draw any attention to himself. CORRECTION: Gary Speed. If what my contact as saying is true that he was set up it makes sense why he was fine on MOTD and oblivious to what was to happen later that night. As is normal with the press they phone the 'target' the night before the print run.....does not really give them time to call their lawyer and sit the family down and confess the whole story..... If his head was all over the place and the embarrassment at being caught out it makes sense why he felt he had to take drastic measures.

Anonymous said...

"If what my contact as saying is true" We should not that contacts within the BBC are notable for their probity, honesty and public-spirit service.

The Times says Speed was found in the garage. Therefore for some reason he went outside prior to 7am in the morning.

I'm struggling to imagine how it he could have gone outside in a way that would lead to him being apprehended (knocked out with formaldahyde, or something) at this time without other members of his family being awoken.

If he thought there was a burglar, why did he not wake up his wife. If there was a knock at the door, why did nobody else hear it.

It does appear on the surface to be suicide.

Anonymous said...

"out it makes sense why he felt he had to take drastic measures."

This is the disinfo of the globalist kill programme. Successful people, kill yourselves. Leave us the slaves to ourselves.

I think it is utterly despicable for you to jump to bonkers conclusions about Gary Speed being murdered just to attract traffic to your page. 99.9 per cent of conspiracy theories are just that, but 99.9 per cent of people who peddle them are sad and deluded individuals who really should get out more. Shame on you.

"jump to bonkers conclusions about Gary Speed being murdered"

No conclusions have been reached. Tap has written in his post there might be a suicide note.

However, suicide is not a rational act. When someone commits suicide, especially someone with no objective reason to do so, we should ask questions as standard.

The mass media rarely ask even the most basic interesting questions, they just sensationalise and spread disinformation, which is why people have to turn to alternative sources of news for their process of truth discovery.

If those questions once raised are then answered in favour of the most simple explanation that is the process truth discovery at work.

In this case it does IMO look like suicide but it is still inexplicable and we should keep open other possibilities.

I am happy to believe the official story if the officials would just give me some evidence. We are getting very used to suspicious deaths, which, as with Diana, prove later on to be unlawful killing. Even now the British media falsely report the findings of the official enquiry, to hide the fact she was unlawfully killed from the British public.

You have to admit we are right to be suspicious in these circumstances where we know they lie.

Blair and the WMD. David Kelly. Michael Jackson. Plus many many more - Robin Cook, John Smith in the Labour camp. Conservatives have been sorted through more violent means. Mrs Thatcher was lucky to survive the attempt to see her off at Brighton, for example.

The commenter suggesting Gary was about to be outed by The Daily Star might offer an explanation. But it would be nice to have a bit more to go on.

The traffic to the blog has been a surprise. I was just expressing what I felt about the news I heard. I don't believe official explanations for most things, I'm afraid. I am very happy to believe stories when there is evidence.

Anonymous said...

"...The commenter suggesting Gary was about to be outed by The Daily Star might offer an explanation. But it would be nice to have a bit more to go on."

My explanation:

Anonymous said...

"Maybe they just wanted to crush his nice guy image."

Gay people are not known as nice?

When one considers popular culture that is counter-intuitive reasoning. Effeminate or gay men like Graham Norton are made presenters of prime time TV shows. I'm sorry, don't agree with you that gays have an image of being nasty.

However, I think it's clear now the narrative that Speed was gay is especially important to the story that he committed suicide.

Therefore we might supposed he received a text message early in the morning from a journalist asking for a comment on an about to be published article? If that did not happen, why did he not commit suicide earlier?

However, no such article has published. It's all speculation. It could be disinfo.

Even if it was true, doesn't mean that was the reason.

Anonymous said...

Printed media (newspaper) journalist follow a particular tested format.

The story is normally already formated on the press just waiting for the go ahead to push the button. Hence, the 'courtesy' phone call at an ungodly hour knowing the target is limited as to being able to do anything.

The number of stories we have witnessed ready to roll and the 'target' has come to some arrangement with the newspaper.... You will note printed stories that give the 'target' a couple lines of quotes in their defence....but the story still gets printed.

My assessment is from 23 years of experience in observing these practises. Thankfully it will be a matter of time for the truth to come out.

i feel he was a hard nosed level headed pro!!! so i smel a "RAT"

Speed was a versatile player who could play in left midfield, central midfield, and also at left-back.[8] He possessed great tactical awareness, and could both create and score goals.[8] Regularly a captain, he was said by his teammates to to have been an 'inspirational figure' who led by example and demanded the best from those around him.[9]
He was well known as a 'consummate professional' both on and off the field.[8] He was not blessed with exceptional talent at a young age, but instead developed his technique through many hours of hard work on the training field.[9] He had a reputation as an extremely fit footballer who looked after his body.[9] He had a modern approach to diet and fitness, a rare quality amongst players of his generation.[8] His level of fitness allowed him to avoid injury and to continue playing until the age of 39; he rarely missed a game.

I am grateful to the above commenters for passing on what they know. Maybe we are starting to get some answers, which could put our minds at rest about this shocking news.

This is more a Hugh Grant scenario. The reputations were getting too big. The guys weren't interested in the corruption of their profession for political ends, so they get trashed by exposure. If so, sadly Gary couldn't take the idea.

The suggestion that Gary Speed received a call from a journalist on the Saturday evening asking him to comment on a story that was to be published on the Sunday, is a complete non-starter.

His body wasn't found until 7am, which is a long time after the newspapers would have been printed and on the shelves. If such a story were to be printed then it would have been printed and being read when the story of his death was made public.

That's not to say such a story didn't exist, it just isn't possible that it was to be printed on the Sunday.

By suicide appears to be the murder weapon-of-choice of the globalists.

As Alex Jones has said, if you have secret info about corruption, get it out there before they silence you. Once it's out, they the cost-benefit of them risking the mission on you is not longer worth it.

For the police to already comment 'no suspicious circumstances' would indicate they are already satisfied with the evidence presented.

If a paper was to release something it would by 7am already been printed for the Sunday morning readers.

Look at what has not been released:

- no mention of suicide note. If it existed then the police would have no reason or concern mentioning it. suicide notes are common in these events - being a nice guy as he was, he would have a lot of goodbyes

- only mentioning he was found by the wife. Where were the children, where they around friends or family? Why specifically found by the wife.

All the stories of blackmails etc are what you would like to believe as good scandals make money

But possibly in good intentions by the Police, Gary and his wife may of had an accident during a normal loving Sunday morning.

This would make sense how come the police have already sent a statement of no suspicion.

This explains no note - there isn't one.

By the police saying a fraction of what needs to be said, the media and your imaginations will make the rest up and create the suspicion, allowing the real truth in this case die with Gary.

"Add to that our printed media love to build people up and then knock them down as their success blossoms."

This is a cliche. The media doesn't "build people up" - people create their own success and are reported on by the media long after the fact, because sometimes the media is forced to report the facts. Usually the media ignores the worthy individuals though. They preferentially report on the bad role models to dumb down the culture, which is what they have been instructed to do.

Some individuals court media attention for a career, e.g. the Beckhams and Katy Prices. But they are a special case, being officially sanction Soap Operas to use up news print. They win from ups and downs, when it comes to selling their biographies, photos and advertising rights.

The Royals are also a special case, being the Barbie and Ken dolls of the Rothchild playhouse.

The media does not knock all celebrities. Only those who threaten the system get the treatment.

Tapestry said...

Those who are really powerful you never even hear of them. Royals and politicians are the illegitimate cover-ups of the power-holders who prefer to act from behind the scenes. The system runs on shame.

Tap, what you are suggesting is Speed was contacted Sunday morning about a forthcoming expose, and there could be hard evidence of this.

But, as another commentator said, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense if they were not going to publish a story on Sunday, and no story appeared.

So what explains the timing, so early on Sunday, a day after appearing normal (not elated, normal), if there was no contact with the media?

None of the theories seem to be quite right.

We've no evidence he was gay, or depressed. That is all wild and unseemly speculation.

Yet it's difficult to imagine how he could have been dragged into the garage and murdered without his wife and kids being alerted, and without there being any suspicious circumstances - like clues of a scuffle.

Unexplained suicide is the explanation by default at the moment.

He wasn't depressed, was upbeat and happy on Saturday. He wasn't gay, loved his wife more than anything. No-one has stated the most obvious scenario...

He gets home, finds his wife has been with someone else, or is leaving him for someone, or a paper phones to tell him his wife has been having an affair. This can make a guy go nuts, believe me. In a mentally imbalanced display of "I'll show her". He kills himself. It's all sudden and explains all the questions people have raised. Wait for his wife's statement during the inquiry.

DarkMatter said...

As someone who works in the field of psychology, this does not ring of a case of chronic depression where the sufferer can see no way out and takes the tragic decision to kill themselves. Instead, all the evidence points to some kind of catastrophic incident occurring in the evening or the night before the suicide. This could be consistent with the following kind of scenarios: A partner saying the relationship is over, where the loss is felt to be utterly devastating, with the sense of rejection and anger leading to some kind of behaviour in the heat of the moment to deal with the uncomfortable emotions. In this case a tragic and final act which if had been survived would have been regretted by the individual. Suicide by hanging is a particularly brutal method of suicide and again consistent with anger. As such, another scenario may well be consistent with some kind of shaming from an investigation from perhaps the police or indeed a story from a newspaper. When the individual in question is held in the highest esteem by loved ones and the wider public, anything which could colour their character negatively would be felt as particularly catastrophic, as if there would be no way of repairing the damage which would be perceived to have been done. In this current tragic high profile case, it is fairly certain that 'something' recent happened, and catastrophically escalated in the hours/moments before the act. It is only a matter of time before the truth comes out. Something that is particularly notable is the lack of media stories about what may have gone on - this could be consistent with them knowing but due to themselves being implicated, are refraining from publishing.

mingulay29 said...

Agree with above comment about the garage re the kids. She probably woke up, wondered where he was, checked the garage to see if his car was there. The most plausible explanation is that he was being outed in the Monday edition of a tabloid, probably the Star. For somebody like him it would have been harder if you were a manager and that happened than if you were a player. A player just has to play well. A manager needs authority.

Anonymous said...

Finding him in the garage is actually no surprise and is one the most likely places a guy might commit suicide by hanging (assuming he did commit suicide of course). A garage usually has a low roof, allowing for easy suspension.

There are some very absurd theories here but I agree with all commentators that something did happen. People don't just commit suicide without a reason. I have a theory, but would stress it is just that, and if any of Mr Speed's family read this they should understand that I offer this as a genuine explanation without any malice or insensitivity intended. If I am wrong, I hope they will understand that and not be upset by what I say.
I agree with Dark Matter that this does not fit the normal depressive syndrome. It would be very diffucult for Mr Speed to hold down a job at this level if he were depressed. The cracks would show. Also, classic depression comes in bouts and lasts for days on end, making the sufferer unresponsive and ineffective. None of this fits.
I think we also have to believe the dozens of accounts that Mr Speed was a happy, well-balanced, genuine, warm, accomplished individual. That is the evidence.
In that context the gay, blackmail, match-fixing, freemasons stuff just doesn't work. He sounds like a man who could deal with any of that in a moment. I don't believe people are seriously worried about being outed as bisexual these days; it just wouldn't matter and might gain him a few more fans and respect if anything. Surely Ryan Giggs' humiliations hit the bottom of the barrel and he doesn't seem to have suffered overtly.
My theory is there might be some Borderline Personality Disorder in the marriage. 99.9% of you won't know what that is (look it up on Wikipedia etc.) as it has only been recognised as a psychiatric condition in the last 20years and most research is going on into it in the USA. Doctors here probably wouldn't recognise it in their patients unless under extreme presentations but it is way more prevalent than the well known conditions like bi-polar and schizophrenia. And it does kill people, there is a high risk of suicide. It most commonly affects women aged 25-40yrs.

Whilst there is very little research being done on this condition in the UK, as with all mental health it isn't a NHS priority, there is almost zero research and support for people who are married to Borderlines; they most probably won't know it is a condition, nor will their spouse or any of their friends and family. In fact, one of the biggest problems with treatment is getting the sufferer to accept there is anything wrong in their behaviour.
I know all this because I was very happily married to a girl who suffered from a mild form for over thirty years. Her sister suffers from it too, slightly more extreme, and during one bout her very sane, well balanced, accomplished husband attempted suicide and but for a stranger's intervention would have succeeded. No note by the way, these things aren't planned and people don't leave notes, they are acting under highly emotional distress.

One characteristic of Borderlines is they seek out very grounded, happy, well-balanced partners and fall deeply and passionately in love with them, but their condition doesn't go away, it just gets refocussed outwardly onto the partner. They are usually, lively, witty, attractive, charismatic people. They are easy to fall in love with.

One characteristic of the condition is a fear of abandonment which translates into a kind of jealousy of the career, as this takes the partner away and is competition. The more accomplished the career, and more demanding, the more tension and distress. I know this all too well. But it isn't a permanent condition, it is episodic and balanced by periods when the sufferer celebrates the partner's career and is proud of it. There are a host of other symptoms, which I can't go into here, look them up if interested, but it would offer an explanation, that is all. Ironically, the husband doesn't understand the condition and becomes more and more devoted to counter the constant niggling criticisms. That doesn't work, however.

cont/-

mike thomson said...

I must stress that all this goes on in a very happy and rewarding marriage, between a couple who are devoted to each other. You need to be a fly on the wall to see what is happening. Even close friends rarely know how much unnecessary suffering goes on, especially if the bloke is at all sensitive. But society needs to wake up to how prevalent this is, whether it has anything to do with the Speeds or not.

Why do I think this might be a possibility? Devoted happy couple very much in love, tick. Well balanced husband, tick. Happy the day, and evening he died, by all accounts, tick. No apparent causes other than domestic, tick. Partner denies row, tick (Borderlines don't recognise anything wrong in their behaviour so asking them if something happened is pointless). Time of death would be interesting, but I would expect the night before, as a domestic would ensue and the partner would be banished to cool off/be punished, which would fit with the discovery the following morning when the banished didn't return. One would normally notice if your partner wasn't in bed with you. I should also emphasize that the sufferer can be very very cruel. They work out what upsets their partner, what causes a rage, what hurts, and they use it if they have to. It's a kind of dominance thing perhaps, but they need constant reassurance that they are the most important thing in their partner's life. Of course they are, but just saying it won't do, there has to be constant testing.

I hope this all makes sense. It is a very complex subject, and I expect the reasons why Mr Speed died will be very complex too, and a little more sophisticated than a phone call from a tabloid accusing him of being Bi. Unfortunately, if my theory is anywhere near the cause I think the police will do nothing (no foul play), it will be left as a domestic argument perhaps and nothing will be learnt from it.

I have no idea if my theory is right, but I would say this MUST be investigated and we must learn from this tragedy. There simply can't be no explanation. We have to find out what it is. We surely owe it to Mr Speed.

Lastly I sincerely apologise if I am way off mark. I know nothing of the family other than what I've read in the press and I don't mean to accuse anybody at a distressing time like this. I'm just suggesting something that should be thoroughly looked into, that's all.

Mike

As is normal with the press they phone the 'target' the night before the print run.....does not really give them time to call their lawyer and sit the family down and confess the whole story..... If his head was all over the place and the embarrassment at being caught out it makes sense why he felt he had to take drastic measures."

I'm not ruling out that a paper was going to run a story to reveal something about his personal life, but if they contact a person the night before to tell them then it would have been in the paper the next day becuase they print them at around 2 in the morning. If they did contact him, it would have been in the paper because they would not have had time to take it out of the paper and save themselves from getting the blame for him commiting suicide.

What nobody has mentioned is that he had started creating a very strong winning Welsh national team and had asked his players to sing the Welsh national anthem (in Welsh) before every game as well. Moreover he had opposed the prospect of 2 Welsh players joining the GB team for the Olympics. Let alone if the Welsh team continued to perform well and these players were necessary. All the above probably did not sound well to some people …Moreover he had opposed the world football system and the methods it used. Have a look at the following:

This exchange between coroner and police officer at the scene has been published:

The coroner asked: “At this stage are you able to give any information as to whether there are likely to be any suspicious circumstances?”

The officer replied: “My assessment of the scene and everything I had before me and the information I have... I’m not investigating this as a suspicious incident.”

What I find interesting is this part...'and the information I have...'. This suggests the police may have had other information even before attending the scene. They were very quick to rule out anything suspicious which may suggest they 'understood' why he had done this, e.g. they knew about any tabloid/police investigation.

Fascinating blog for a very impressive man and vague acquaintance. He stood out from other footballers as polite and amiable, and always dedicated to the job. The tweets from his wife are, I think, important if true (not seen reported anywhere else). Twenty-odd years of travelling around the footballing world demands a long suffering spouse and inevitable tensions even for the most well balanced of footballers. Only recently breaking from the daily training grind (leaving Sheffield United) would also have been a challenging transition for Gary. Too much time on his hands for the first time as an adult. A tabloid expose wouldn't be so shocking given the prevalent morality of footballers, but would be unlikely given the timing of the current newspaper inquiry. Easy to look for clues such as the old Bolton gay rumour and his on field partnership with Jermaine Jenas (who's suffered more anonymous gay rumours than most). However, much more likely to be a personal pain than a tabloid expose in a week for newspaper editors and owners to keep their collective heads down.

I'm a forensic psychologist and if I had to bet on what has happened here it would be a simple case of GS feeling trapped in a un-fulfilling marriage. So why should that drive him to suicide? Well, most blokes would just divorce or play away but in his position, to break up a picture perfect family life would seem too devastating. Also, what had changed recently? He was suddenly no longer a full-time pro, and his Wales Euro qualifying campaign was over, thrusting him into the need to spend more time with the family - what he would experience as a lonely charade. look at what Alan Shearer said - their 2 respective families were planning a holiday together the following summer, and the 2 couples had also arranged to spend next weekend together. These anticipated events would further exacerbate GS's dread at this continuing charade. Of course his poor wife would have no idea he felt like this - he was so good as acting the perfect hubby, father and professional. He could hardly confide in her and no one else for fear of ruining his universal self-image. So what happened on Saturday night? Maybe the threat of a press intrusion, or maybe nothing more than an act of desperation - after another charade of a dinner playing happy families, alcohol, the lonely and drawn out anticipation of spending excessive time in this role of living a lie, with no hiding place of the execessive hours of being a pro and the opportunities that lifestyle offers his otherwise bogus life.

Good point. Gary Speed is only recently retired from a playing career and maybe he missed that life and it became unbearable. Sure he was still a manger, but it different routine and a different set of responsibilities.

Do you guys remember Only Fools and Horses when the brothers become millionaires? Del becomes depressed because he misses the old way of life i.e. the daily grinding, camarderie. I know it's probably not the best example to use to contextualise this particular case, but I hope you can see where I am getting at.

THere have been quite a few suicides over the years in English First Class cricket after players had retired from playing. Some people cannot get use to a new life, one that is very different from the one they had been doing for the previous 2 decades. They miss the team spirit, the routine.

Winners don't become losers that easily.

Where is the suicide note if it was suicide? He was a generous hearted man, by all accounts (except yours). He wouldn't leave his family in the lurch with no goodbyes.

What were his normal morning routines? Did he habitually go to the garage for a work-out before going to work?

There has been no investigation of any possible murder scenario. The Police said 'I am not investigating possible suspicious circumstances.' Why not? Isn't that the job of the Police to be sure of causes of death? They have never said there are not any suspicious circumstances, only that they are not investigating.

Speed appeared to be an honest family man, happily married and hence he was becoming a great role model. That reason alone is a motive apart from any World Cup fixture shenanigans.

Globalists hate family men. They want the big brother state to be the family. They want to steal your children, programme them to be sex slaves, and take life and death decisions over everyone.

Gary Speed stood against that.

Anonymous said...

Where has this assumption come from that there was no suicide note?

Occams Razor springs to mind here. The fact that the police have said there we no suspicious circumstances would suggest to me that there was a detailed suicide note left that explained exactly why he took the course of action that he did.

Its certainly understandable for his wife not to want to make that public as the contents of the note are likely to be of a highly personal nature. Whilst I am certainly curious as to his reasons, I don't for one minute believe I have any right to know them.

Direct quote from the police:

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The family have requested that they are left in peace to grieve at this difficult time"

Fairly conclusive in my view.

I honestly can't understand why anyone could deduce from that information, that there is some conspiratorial organisation at work.

-- "There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The family have requested that they are left in peace to grieve at this difficult time"

Fairly conclusive in my view. --

This quote does sound conclusive.

Maybe there is an unpublished suicide note. Perhaps they have not mentioned it yet because the family want time to grieve and don't want to be pestered by questions from media asking what the suicide note said.

If there is no suicide note one might wonder how the police can be so conclusive. There have been other hypotheses posted that might explain this, but I don't buy that either (6-7am, in the garage, really??).

I suppose the details will be revealed in time. In the meantime, in the absence of explanation, it looks suspicious.

I don't buy the "gay" = suicide meme. Welsh International rugby player came out as gay. He grappled over men on the field. A gay manager just has to give team talks and issue instructions, and has a coach to assist him.

At this time when being gay has is hip and being heterosexual is evil there really is no excuse.

In a country which regularly lies to the public about such matters, it is, sadly, not advisable to accept Police statements at face value. Trust expired a long time ago. If in doubt go to the Diana enquiry post. She was 'unlawfully killed', the official enquiry decided. Yet the BBC ran its news report as 'killed by paparazzi'.

Tapestry said...

Furthermore, the enquiry decided the paparrazzi were nowhere in site. The people rushing the car on motorbikes were not paparazzi. Yet the BBC and all national newspapers including The Express ignored the findings of the enquiry and repeated the lies. What hope is there of people believing anything they are told when everyone is lying - government, police, news media, the lot.

As for Gary Speed, if he was murdered, this could easily be hushed up, and a bunch of rumours circulated suggesting suicide be a plausible explanation. All we are left with is our instincts, and millions of people find they are feeling suspicious of what they've been told...suspicious enough to take action by searching on blogs to find another story - and reach some kind of understanding as to what really happened to Gary.

Don't know where this information came from or if it is valid - copied from a forum, link below

"The facts as they stand are;
1, GS appeared fine on football focus.
2, Following a conversation with a co presenter it is understood that GS is going to a family get together on Saturday night.
3, At said get together GS and family arrive as normal.
4, GS found hanged at 7am by spouse when she arrived home.

Between 3 and 4 something went wrong and wife and children stayed at get together and GS did not.
Everything else is just speculation.
Did GS and wife argue?
Did GS receive text or phone call and leave party to deal with it?

Everything is nothing more than speculation and conspiracy and the only person that knows why GS is dead is GS.
I would add,
5) Gary arranged to see Alan Shearer next weekend at Shearer`s home.
6) Gary arranged to take the family to Dubai for Christmas where they would visit and ex football player.
7) He was arranging with Alan Shearer for a holiday next year for a holiday in Portugal."

The above content copied from the forum is rubbish. It has been printed in various papers, that he and his wife hosted a dinner party - two close friends, who apparently stayed the night.

Thanks for that, anonymous. You have to look at all sources, not just newspapers and main media. Usually the answers come, but not from the MSM. We will keep working on this story, even if it takes a long time to finally get to the bottom of it.

Anonymous said...

I know what's actually going on. I must remain anonymous. The Police and The Press know what has happened. There has been an agreement on a press embargo on revealing any pertinent facts to this case, for many good reasons. On the personal level for the family to mourn, on a corporate level for the press individuals and corporations to minimise further damage. This is all further mediated by the Leeson enquiry needing to run its course. It is also near Christmas and many hacks don't want to rock the boat, want their bonus and not to be disgraced to the nation. There is a lot of anxiety in the offices of those involved. There are lawyers frantically clarifying legal positions. Statements from newspapers denying involvement do not wash, as the hacks involved are freelance and therefore as correctly stated not part of any newspaper's investigation. Friends, players and associates also know what has happened to varying extents. It will all come out in time, but not without the most belligerent denial and defence from those involved. Cover ups, deleted electronic evidence and hefty pay offs between certain agencies are afoot. In the past they would have got away with it. But, because so many people know what is going on, it's only a matter of time before something is let out of the bag. It's a matter of who blinks first. I am not accusing anyone or making any aspersions. However, justice must be done here and it won't be pretty.

Those of you who aren't gay on here really have no concept of the turmoil some gay guys go through, especially if you rejected your gay side early on in life and chose to try and follow a straight life. It doesn't work. One day your sexuality will Out itself in some form or other and if, like me you've been apparently happily married for many, many years, the pain, embarrasment and potential rejection by friends and family can be overwhelming. I know. After 20 years of burying my true sexuality I have just recently had to face up to being the person I've striven so, so long not to be. I've been rejected by friends and family alike and if I was in a public position like Gary, would have given far more time to the suicidal thoughts I continue to have...

If he'd been threatened with being Outed after succumbing to his real sexuality, I'd say it was a real possibility...

If so, and the story makes the papers, his death would not be in vain. It will surely make one of the final bastions of homophobia - football - face up to real life in the 21st century.

Anonymous said...

Someone in the family could change British footballs suppression of homosexuality overnight by being brave and honest and change the future for all young people dealing with their sexuality in silence. A man has died in pain, a family is in turmoil and the public deserves the truth

FFS! Tired of hearing 'gay' comments. If he was gay, we'd have known about it ages ago! Shearer would know, Savage would know, all his close mates would know...

Tapestry said...

There are two steps to take in the gay theory. The first is 'was he gay?' which is still not fully established. The second is 'if he is gay, was that a factor in his death?'

It seems that people who think he was gay are convinced he committed suicide to avoid being outed, as alleged anonymously in higher comments.

It's not convincing as he seemed relaxed and happy to plan holidays ahead.

There has been no discussion as to what his normal steps were each morning. It would be a good time to commit a murder, if he got up alone and went exercising.

Anonymous said...

Approaching this case like a detective, with all the known evidence and all the conjecture, the reason can be simplified into a cluster of themes:

1.) Suicide most likely down to reaction from recent event rather than depression. 90% strength in this conclusion.

2.) Any event to bring this on would indeed involve fear of public/personal humiliation. Actual reason most likely personal infidelity 70%, homosexuality 20%, other 10%. I have arrived at these figures as the rumours for being gay are wholly unfounded, whereas infidelity may well be supported by the wife's twitter tweets leading up to the death, all pointing to some kind of her forgiving GS for his misdemeanours. Then, in the week where cases of injunctions are being heard in courts (fact), GS suddenly takes drastic and fatal action. This points to an injunction being lifted for the reporting of said misdemeanours.

All in all, if one had to conclude the most likely reason from the known (albeit limited) evidence, it would go something like this: GS has affair(s), he decided to take out injunction and also reveal to his wife what has happened, she is able to overcome the news and forgives him, tweets suggestive of begrudging forgiveness (may compound guilt on GS), court injunction lifted by newspaper, GS alerted of this, in a rush of dread/anger takes drastic measures. The rest is history....

Tapestry said...

11.04 pm Not so. Did David Kelly's wife and family rush to speak to the media when they must have known that his was no suicide? No. Fear is also a factor. If silence buys survival, people tend to be quiet, especially mothers with children.

Anonymous said...

"court injunction lifted by newspaper, GS alerted of this,"

Contacted in the early hours of Sunday morning? A story did not appear in the papers. It would have been too late to stop had they done so. No article appeared. Therefore it would have been odd for the media to have contacted him at that time.

Gary Speed was a heterosexual, married, white male role model who had a family, and many friends. This is actually true. As such he was an ideal role model for everyone, including gay people who surely value the many benefits of a family orientated society.

Such family role models hated by globalists who want to destroy society and monopolise the propaganda to ensure everyone utterly dependent on the state. Family role models are supposed to be At Home with the Kardashians, not plain, ordinary lives.

In 1997 Channel 4 Despatches, aired a programme which exposed paedophile football coaches. One of these paedophiles was named as Barry Bennell. Between 1978 -1982 Bennell worked as a coach, finding young "starlets" for some of the top football clubs. During this period, he sexually abused some of these young hopefuls (ages around 9, 10,11 ). Bennell was credited with finding stars such as Rob Jones, Andy Hinchcliffe and GARY SPEED !!!
This monster subsequently served jail time in the USA for sodomising young boys. When he was deported back to Britain, he was also found guilty of sexual abuse on young boys and sentenced to jail.

In 1978 Gary Speed would have been around 9 or 10 years old.

I pray to God that Gary Speed wasn't a victim of sexual abuse by that monster. And I pray that it had nothing to do with Gary Speeds tragic death.

There is foul play here to my thinking; but it will be hard to prove.

All the best in this quest.

Ask yourself this question - What would it take for me to believe the official story about any conspiracy theory? The answer, I suspect, is that no matter what evidence you are presented with, you have already formed your opinion, and cannot, therefore be persuaded otherwise. You would only believe what you see with your own eyes. Unless of course the the evidence proved the conspiraacy theory, then i don't suppose it would matter much to you where that came from.

Anonymous said...

It seems really odd so I would guess that he has found something out about his wife or someone has found something out about him, and being a proud man has not wanted his children humiliated or embarrassed. I think it is likely the press were involved and he felt he couldn't cope with what was about to happen. Either that or he has got himself into some serious trouble with gambling debts or something like that and couldn't face telling his wife. Such a sad story, I'm so sure this will all come out eventually, and whatever the reason, it won't ever have been so bad that suicide was the answer.

Anonymous said...

Not odd. Likely doesn't feel like using twitter right now. Also, the twitter page was fuelling speculation. I don't think it was justified. Women are on average more emotional than men can over-dramatise whether hubby appreciate the choice of carpets or not.

"The answer, I suspect, is that no matter what evidence you are presented with, you have already formed your opinion, and cannot, therefore be persuaded otherwise. "

No, this is nonsense. The extent to which a conspiracy theory is believed in is based on evidence. You might be ignorant of that evidence or the evidence might be later proved wrong but without "evidence" few theories become popular.

Here you simply assume 1. that all the evidence shows "foul play" is not cause of death - actually, little or no evidence has been put forward. Inquest reports in January. 2. create a straw man that there are others who
"cannot be persuaded otherwise" it was a suspicious death. People have questions. That's all. You
don't want people thinking about this case? Why?

After Football Focus, Gary returned home to Chester, he went for a meal with friends at the Bull in Shocklach, nr. Malpas.

Gary said he wanted to get home to watch the end of the football game that was on. (Think England were playing)

His friends and him had a great time and ending by throwing each other in to his swimming pool fully clothed.

Gary's kids had their friend staying over for a sleepover that night.

In the morning Louise discovered Gary's body in the garage and called the Police at 7.08am.

The kids were whisked away in the morning when Louise discovered Gary's body in the garage and the kids weren't told what had happened until later.

No one who lives nearby can believe he took his own life."

How does he/she know so much, if true? Very precise too. No, England were not playing, it was Arsenal Vs Fulham (guess a woman wrote the comment)

I's even harder to believe what has happened, if the "pool" comments are true. Something dodgy somewhere, very dodgy...

1.20 am Jermaine Michael. If Gary was molested as a ten year old, he could have been threatening to reveal more in the media, and the Despatches was just the beginning of an attempted campaign against the paedophiles.

This is the Achilles heel of the powerful elites that want to dominate the world totally. They all seem to have an interest in paedophilia. It's the recurring theme that won't go away, with Royalty, politicians (Dunblane/Hamilton) and central bankers. They see it as their right to acquire the children they desire.

This could explain why powerful people would want to murder Gary - to silence him. That would be a lot more of a possibility than him being worried about being gay - if he in fact was. On that front there are only rumours. Here is some stronger evidence of which way to look to find explanation.

If Louise knows anything about what Gary was doing exposing paedophiles operating in football, she would now keep very quiet indeed. Is this what her strange tweets were about - looking to find the good in humanity? It would fit. She was aware of a great evil, and was trying to rationalise it.

There is a very sad saying among abuse victims, and that is 'abused re-abuse'. Whether they want to or not. It is engrained into them from an early age. Maybe he couldn't handle these feelings any more? This only speculative to all the other posts here. And has to be as there is absolutely nothing to go on.
Report in this link of above: http://addictions.about.com/od/sexaddiction/tp/sexualabuse.htm

Very very very sad for him and his family. Tragic loss of an all round good guy and talent!

Tapestry said...

How would Despatches know he was potentially abused as a boy, if he wasn't the one revealing it? He would be the first 'victim' with a big enough position to be able to bring it to the attention of the public, and personalise the issue so people could understand it.

If he was revealing the fact that he was a victim or was beginning to do so, he would hardly be an abuser himself.

This could be the story that the newspapers rumours are all about - not being gay but being a victim of sexual abuse. That would be enough for the paedophile elites to move against him.

This could connect up with the recent Jimmy Savile revelations. Paedophilia goes right to the top. Search 'paedophilia' on this blog, and you will find plenty enough about it.

Why can't people just accept that Gary committed suicide without a big reason?

Because this is Gary Speed, and it's a total shock to everyone, including to all his CLOSE friends. He laughed and joked with Shearer, McAllister, and Savage the day before it happened, and seemed his happy, micky taking self, and even arranged night's out with Shearer. If we were talking about Collymore here, or even someone like Gazza, nobody would be too shocked, and we wouldn't be needing answers. They're both mentally unbalanced, and are both known to having problems. Collymore recently spent a whole 4 days in bed, Speed didn't. If he was so down or whatever, he wouldn't be bothered doing things like he did on his last day living - appearing on the TV, meeting Shearer to watch the Stoke game, and if true - going to the pub with friends, and wanting to get home so he could catch the last part of the Arsenal game. I mean, he wouldn't give a flying f*** about seeing the Arsenal game, IF this was suicide in normal circumstances. You don't do normal things when you're down, e.g was Shearer on MOTD Sat night? No, because he is a down man at the moment.

It is quite obvious there is a lot more to this story...

I just cannot see depression as a cause. Major long term depression is very difficult to hide. There would have been some give away. For example, difficulty in concentrating on a task, distant look, unable to talk to family and friends for any length of time.

The mostly likely is a trigger by some event that was to come to pass or possibly even murder.

Does anyone possibly think the death could have been a sex game gone wrong? My understanding is there were two other couples in the house on that night. Once it happened the only they could do was make it look like it was suicide. Some people who appear respectable in public, can be less than moral behind closed doors. However, by all accounts, this is highly unlikely.

Being murdered by people trying to hide paedophilia, is a possibility. Fearing being exposed by Speed, the only thing to do was to get rid of him.

Anonymous said...

Certainly suspicious and seeing him and his actions the day before he certainly did not look like a man who had suicide planned and if so, why 7am on a Sunday morning? Why not Saturday night

If she had an affair with Duncan Fletcher for 13 years, do you seriously think she would have the Newcastle tribute to late husband delayed by a week so she could attend in person? Surely she would be too embarrassed to ask for this, knowing her affair was cause of his death. This is just yet another stupid rumour.

We will wait for the actual truth to come out (or not). In the meanwhile, lets stop all the speculation. Anyone can start a rumour going by going on some forum, Facebook, Twitter or whatever.

Tapestry said...

Let's stop all the speculation.....

What's your source for alleging the affair?

If it's a thirteen year affair, given the other possibilities, it seems very unlikely he would suicide over it. He loved his kids.

She can ask to attend in person if she wishes.

Anonymous said...

Were we to go with the hypothesis Gary Speed was killed, the killers would have an extremely strong motive to invent a wild story to explain it as suicide.

However, whether their rumour was true or false, you still have to explain all circumstances. The timing is still odd.

Apparently the individual who started the rumour on twitter closed his account. Wonder if the account was opened the same day? Don't know who it was - perhaps someone else knows.

Tapestry said...

Nearly everyone I know thinks there is something fishy about Gary's death. One person on Twitter makes no difference.

They polished off Diana, and still lie in the media that it was the paparazzi, when the inquest stated quite clearly they were nowhere near the accident. Whoever was chasing the car on motorcycles were not paparazzi.

The lesson is don't trust the main media to tell us the truth. Keep working on the situations by ourselves. Only then will any answers come out, however long it takes.

Anonymous said...

Also notice the rumour appears designed for maximum media intrusion into the lives of the Speed family. They should be left alone. This is exactly what they don't want and don't deserve.

It therefore also could also be an unscrupulous media hack trying to whip up public interest in stories that may be appearing this weekend.

Anonymous said...

If you read my post carefully you will see I said her having an affair with Duncan Ferguson and that it being the cause of his suicide was highly unlikely. It was just a rumour started by someone on Twitter, with no evidence whatsoever to back it up. Anyone can start rumour these days by going on the net.

Everything that's been said up till now it seems has been speculation. Gary Speed being a high profile figure, people are bound to do that. I am not saying one of the rumours isn't true because people seem to have speculated every possible avenue for his death since his death, it's just that since no proof and evidence has been used by people speculating, we therefore have to treat each one as mere speculation and nothing more

Tapestry said...

Thank you for clarifying. I would only add that the evidence that gary was a paedophile victim is strong. The evidence that he was about to write and publish a revealing autobiography is strong. Linking the two is speculation.

There were strong rumours (multiple source) of a Gary Speed story about to break in the main media. My theory is that the three are linked and could have caused his death.

The final factor is peoples' instinctive reactions. Once large numbers of people react intuitively that a story doesn't make sense, they are usually right.

Diana. David Kelly. Robin Cook. It can take years for the truth to out, but your instincts know straight away.

In the next few days it will come out that he had been having a relationship with an underage girl.

He claimed he didn't realise how young she was.

Tapestry said...

If that is true, and it will need confirmation, I don't see it as a reason for suicide.

It would be a good way to put pressure on him to keep quiet about something else....a baby honey trap.

(I am assuming 15 looking like 20. My sister was an early developer and had many admirers aged twelve.)

Now he's not with us, it could be a good attempt to fool people into thinking that was a reason he might kill himself.

Or the story is simply malicious.

Anonymous said...

Let's just hope the underage girl thing isn't true because Speed was deemed to be one of the very few (yes very few) good guys in English soccer.

I would imagine the people who are trying to keep something quiet would be most happy to release rumours to cover their tracks.

Regarding a relationship with an underage girl, if it is true, the seriousness will depend on if he continued therelationship knowing she was underage. Let's face it, some underage girls can look much older and can be taken for adults on looks alone and they can deceive men. So, if he had a brief liaison with her not knowing how old she was, I don't think it's all that serious, but it's whether he continued the relationship after finding out she was underage is all important.

This of course assumes it's more than a rumour.

Anonymous said...

People release rumours for the same reason hackers hack databases and virus writers spread malicious software: because they can.

These two rumours do not have supporting evidence. Both sound like designed rumours.

On the other hand, the theory tap proposes was created out of supporting facts.

I know what I'm more likely to give credence too.

DARREN said...

I think the rumours are just that one might just prove correct but how many more is their before we find right one.

Lets look at facts first question if the police were so quick to state suicide. did they have information to suggest they knew the reason behind the suicide? incluging the pending newspaper story

Also if this was suicide given the fact he was a succefull man with still everything to live for and no history of depression, his reasons for taking such action must be awfull.

If it was a pending newspaper story (the evidence suggests this is more than a rumour) then it must have been really really bad story for him to take such measures.

A story which would basically ruin everything for him is career his marriage/family and friends his whole reputation.

just hope this is not the case.

//If it was a pending newspaper story (the evidence suggests this is more than a rumour) then it must have been really really bad story for him to take such measures.//

What evidence? All we have heard is speculation. This could be from the same people who are spreading the rumours.

Until there is a story there was no story. Certainly, no story appeared on Sunday, when it would have been too late to stop its publication. The facts show there was no story. This was probably the first of the 3 rumours - perhaps spread by the same group/individual.

We have heard a lot lately how the police have leaked information to the press the fact the police were so quick to rule out suspisious circumsances could point to a cover up ie both the press and police know something here their letting on.

On the other hand i agree the individual/group could be feeding the rumours to create this type of divertion i wouldnt rule out this.

i would question at the moment why the police would be so quick to rule out no suspisious circumstances (ie they were looking into something in his private life) .

Yet the family seem totally baffled it would suggest the police may have some answers.

Perhaps the police found no evidence at the crime scene to suggest murder? Hence they concluded there were no suspicious circumstances.

Almost everyone else is convinced the mere fact of Gary Speed's death is suspicious because we think he would not have committed suicide.

However, the police can only comment on the evidence. If the police found no evidence that would suggest murder then they can't hold a murder investigation.

Perhaps there was no evidence to find. Or maybe they didn't find evidence because they weren't looking hard enough for it because they didn't think the fact someone who had appeared to commit suicide was suspicious.

The Police were quite specific. They said in view of information they possessed, they would not be investigating the case.

The information was not disclosed. It could have been an instruction not to investigate.

Deaths that are suspicious do not offer any information as to their details. When details are released, they are incomplete and frequently inaccurate. Refer David Kelly. Princess Di. Robin Cook. Etc.

When your sack is loose yet pointy the shampoo lid is slippery to the extent that one must hang themselves, lest they oobledy goobledy have to explain grimey noggin to aghast telly audience.

That's actually poetic. Can you translate for simple folk please. like me.

It's almost certain Tony Blair and the government (Blair playing the key role) played a hand in the deaths of Kelly, Cook and Diana, with the latter's death being a cooperation between both the government and the royal family.

DARREN said...

Kelly, Cook and Dianna were murder.

Unlikely at the moment Gary Speed was murdered.

If the police dont comwe up with answers given their statements then questions need to be asked and suspisions will mount of some kind of cover up.

Excelent blog by the way

UPDATE to penn state:-

For all those non believers,

Sadly Pedo Grooming is in the USA also:-

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) — The stunning allegations that a beloved icon of Penn State's football team has secretly been a serial molester who used his charity for children to find and groom new victims will undergo their first legal test Tuesday inside a picturesque rural Pennsylvania courthouse. There, prosecutors will try to prove they have enough evidence to advance the case to county court for trial.

Amazing news of a well known UK tricker pedo perv who got away with it for life!!!!.

http://the-tap.blogspot.com/2011/11/jims-fixed-it-this-time-had-his-head.html

There is also his buddy David Bennett of Nottinghamshire (partner in deviant crime)friendship with Jimmy, from 1968

currently underground.
partnered Savile in running a highly publicised Nottinghamshire charity run with children.

Bennett procured under age children as jimmy's (50+years) personal chaperones where they were abused.
ex priest in charge of St. Edmund's Church, Holme Pierrepont, a parish church in the Church of England .
Holme pierrepont parish church 70s, 80s to 90s

Was is a Mason & School inspector!! so well placed to fantasize or even abuse?

Such an unsavoury person even his 2 children have diss-owned him & so deluded with his version of Christianity have turned their backs & become christadelphians? or other, even moved travelled away.
His retirement created a full twin page local hero spread in the Nottingham post a few years ago, pals in high places!!!

I know he personally groomed a small girl he had his eye on in the church of a local family over a few years where he eventually made out she had fallen for him. he propergated a rumour they were a item and even his family thought he was going to leave his wife for her. "A total dreamer" leaving the girl with no where to turn to for help. as he held so much weight in the community and what was she but a small girl, horrified in the mess she found her self in. he was waiting for her to come of age to pounce the ponce.

His buddy in crime was Cannon pierce of the R-O-T Saint Marys church main street Radcliffe-o-trent whilst married carried affairs with impunity.

December 5, 2011 - Sunday Express writer and close friend of Gary Speed, John Richardson, writes about his difficult week in the aftermath of the Wales manager's death.

"I've got three chapters of his autobiography sitting in my bottom drawer."

Tapestry said...

The way communications work, the same documents could be on file at other locations. It is unlikely Gary wrote a manuscript, but probably used a WP. The file would be sitting on his own PC's memory, accessible to hackers.

no one has mentioned gambling debts.

Darren said...

Unlikely that gambling debts would cause someone of Gary stature to take his own life.

Besides if you believe in the theory that a newspaper story was about to develop a gambling problem would not be that big of a story.

There is a theory that would add up suggesting gary was contacted on saturday about a newspaper story that was a bout to be published (their seems to be a strong suggestion that this is the case). Gary then would threten to commit suicide if they published the story.

The newspaper would then pull the story in case he carried out his threat.

this would explain why the story did not appear in the newspaper.

Tapestry said...

That is all supposition. And not likely. Why not work from known facts, like the existence of the first few chapters of his autobiography, the fact that he was a paedophile abuse victim as a young player, and that there was no suicide note.

Darren said...

I agree these things could develop into factors if we dont get answers.

At this time we need to rule out suicide and find if theres a reason for his suicide its still early days in this one yet.

I am not flatly rejecting foul play could be involved here and im not saying its wrong to look for clues that might give us some answers but it seems suicide is most likely at this time.

If over time we cant find a believable reason for the suicide
then we can get suspisious.

At the moment this seems more likely we are talking cover up rather than suspisious.

Tapestry said...

A man who loved his family would leave a note.

Darren said...

Agree i never heard mention of this. unless his family know the reasons behind this.

What do you think could the family not be letting on?

With the revelation of being a victim of sexual abuse as a youngster, one can't help but speculate as to whether he himself has recently been sexually active with children. This is of course a not unknown correlation between being a victim and later abuser. One only needs to look into the cases of a well known tv comedy writer (aprox 3 years ago) and a lead singer of a well known band, who both had to defend themselves after child porn charges brought against them. Both, i believe cited a need to 'process' their own abuse for accessing the illegal images. This possibility would make the most sense for GS taking his own life - e.g. the police were investigating him/or the press. Or perhaps he had used a credit card to access child porn that very night and felt terribly guilty aswell as fearing this act triggering a police investigation. This makes sense above such accusations of being gay, affairs and the like as this kind of accusation hanging over you would truly be devastating in a way the others cannot compare. For such a great guy to so many people it would feel too much for him to live through. If this is the case then you can understand why if any, coverup is going on. It suits everyone that this doesn't come out, including the football authorities as it would paint the game in a bad light - and would fear opening up a can of worms perhaps elsewhere in the game?

I personally think "gambling debts" is something he would have been able to work through.

I dont know what to make of these Twitter rumours about Duncan Ferguson, except I think it odd that they were so prolific last week and no one has denied them?? I also find it odd that Ferguson had only been back in the country about a month when this tragedy happened:-

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/oct/18/duncan-ferguson-everton-youth-coach

Is there an super injunction in place stopping the story being told??

Tapestry said...

Thanks for the link. It is unlikely the media would put a witch hunt on Gary Speed as a perpetrator. Why single him out unless he was threatening the system in some way?

More likely he was the one threatening to expose the topic, and they were going after ways to quiet him, the final one being his murder.

Anonymous said...

The Ferguson rumour is quite compelling. Why would someone make a hoax claim of a somewhat obscure footballer as him in the grand scheme of things. It's not like he said it was someone like Beckham or Giggs. There is a definite link between Ferguson and Speed together at 2 different clubs, and the timing of this correlates to the claim that one child is Fergusons. It strikes me as a somewhat elaborate hoax if it';s just that - like the hoaxer did their homework in picking a plausible player. What would be the motive of hoaxing Ferguson? This is a rumour which carries more weight than people realise.

Tapestry said...

Can you spell out the details of the rumour, please. Many people won't understand precisely what the rumour consist of.....including me.

Anonymous said...

Duncan Ferguson story does not carry weight for me. Witness Speed's wife asking tribute matches for him to be held in different weeks so she could attend these events personally. If she did not love him and was the reason for him taking this drastic action, I doubt she would be making this request. Unless she was trying to derive his family and cover her tracks. Also, I think suicide would be unlikely even if she was haing an affair.
