SUN/Cameron Deal Confirms Lisbon Treaty Is Lost

The pundits are all hard at work this morning. What does The Sun's switch of support from Labour to Conservative mean, coming at this moment? The Editor says the orders for the change come right from the top, in other words from Rupert Murdoch himself. Why now?

That is really a change. Murdoch has supported Labour since 1995 without a hiccup, while Labour have signed Britain into every Treaty, crushing any Conservative leader who gave a whiff of euroscepticism, almost in alliance with the BBC.

The deal was about money, Murdoch being allowed to keep his lucrative football TV monopoly, free of bother from the EU's Competition Commissioner, as long as he supported Blair through thick and thin, which he has done.

But now the paper says they are sick of the government's lack of support for the troops in Afghanistan (an old Murdoch ploy to swing political support based on the fortunes of war, starting with his father Keith's writings in Australia on Gallipoli in 1916).

They also say, interestingly and more significantly, that the readers of The Sun are sick of Labour's ignoring their wishes for a referendum on The Lisbon Treaty.

This must be a shocking development for those trying to shore up the collapsing Lisbon Treaty, just as the German government has at last ratified, leaving only Ireland, The Czech Republic and Poland to tidy up.

During a moment of disloyalty to the EU two years ago, young James Murdoch openly campaigned against the EU Constitutional Treaty in The Sun. As an immediate effect, Murdoch lost his controlling share of ITV, as his punishment and warning. Murdoch was brought to heel, and he seemed to quickly abandon open rebellion. Gordon Brown was backed and Lisbon was signed.

But this time it seems there will be full-on rebellion, no going back and bugger the consequences.

In other words, Murdoch sees the power of the Blairs, of Brussels and the EU as crumbling, and he can now profitably change sides and back Cameron, with his stated wish to have a referendum in Britain, and a rebalancing of power with the EU.

It seems almost inevitable that the Irish referendum is already certain to be a second NO, for this to be happening now.

Murdoch and Cameron have done a deal, whereby Murdoch will keep all his media privileges, and Cameron, in return, wants his help in securing power in Britain. But the crucial factor is that they see they can (this time) successfully rebel against the EU, and win. Otherwise this would not be happening.

With Britain's General Election now only just over 7 months away, Cameron's moment to step up a gear on the Lisbon Treaty and promise a referendum on Britain's relationship with the EU is surely here.

INTERESTING TO NOTE - Andrew Neil writes 'Mr Cameron has kept his distance from Sun proprietor Rupert Murdoch, though he gets on well with his son, James.

UPDATE - Vaclav Klaus and the Czech resistance brings an appeal against Lisbon on the next day - See Irish Times HERE.

Extract - A GROUP of Czech senators has lodged a new constitutional court challenge against the Lisbon Treaty, alleging that it turns the EU into a “super state”.

Part of the appeal rests on a claim that the guarantees on the treaty given to Ireland by EU leaders should have been ratified by the Czech parliament. The senators hope the appeal will delay ratification until a Conservative government can win power in Britain and kill the treaty.

Senator Jiri Oberfalzer, a close ally of Eurosceptic Czech president Vaclav Klaus who helped prepare the court challenge, said that the constitutional court should state whether the EU would still be an international organisation or if Lisbon creates a new EU “super state”.

The appeal asks the court to examine whether the treaty as a whole is compatible with the Czech constitution. It also challenges the legality of the guarantees provided by EU leaders to Ireland.

“The senators claim the Irish guarantees are an international treaty which would need the consent of both chambers of the Czech parliament,” Tomas Langasek, general secretary of the court, told The Irish Times yesterday.

Father Jack Vote NO Poster Getting Noticed

Looking at the searches by which people are finding my blog today I can see quite a few are by people searching things like 'Father Jack Lisbon Poster'.

This poster seems to have moved off the internet and is being put up in railway stations and the like across Ireland and getting a good response.

Will Jack find the way through to Irish hearts to stand firm against Brussels' threats and propaganda? One issue which has not been part of the Lisbon referendum debate, and in my view should have been,is the EU programme to legalise and facilitate paedophilia.

For the EU cowards, bullies and perverts, Father Jack has it exactly right -

Tell 'Em To Feck Off' !!!

French Europe Minister Fears Irish Referendum Slap In Facee

Yet another Minister for Europe is hedging their bets on the Irish Referendum. This time the French. Last time the Swedish.

From Open Europe -

In an interview with French radio station LCI, Pierre Lellouche, French Minister for Europe, was asked what will happen if Ireland votes 'No'.

He said: "We are waiting very impatiently because the future of 500 million Europeans lays in the hands of 3 or 4 million Irish voters... it is a very uncertain campaign".

He continued: "Whatever happens, Europe will keep on going because we do not have a choice...there is a lot of work to do in the energy, immigration, industry and social fields, and we are not going to stop.

So we will find solutions if ever we were faced with such a situation.

It doesn't sound like a ring of confidence in a YES, does it ... despite all those dodgy polls.

See earlier post Europe Abandons Democracy. Here is another Minister who thinks a rejection by Ireland has to be ignored. You really wonder why they bother holding referendums. They can't cope with the answers. It would be better if they set up a Dictatorship openly and honestly, and cut out all the pretence.

Jackboots are jackboots after all.

EU Making Paedophilia Legal Across Europe

(PICTURE - The Palais De Justice in Brussels where there is a monument to all the missing children of Belgium. See later in post)

The German Government is promoting sexual contact between parents and children.

If you cannot imagine this is true, you have to read the leaflet shown in Germany and EU to Legalise Paedophilia. The leaflet is a publication of a German Government Children's Department, which is distributed by the million, free of charge.

EXTRACT from the link -

Canadian author and public speaker Michael O'Brien ... spoke to LifeSiteNews.com as follows -...

It is, he said, "State-encouraged incest, which in most civilized societies is a crime."

The pamphlet advises parents to permit young children "unlimited masturbation" except where physical injury becomes apparent. It advises: "Children should learn that there is no such thing as shameful parts of the body. The body is a home, which you should be proud of." For ages 4-6, the booklet recommends teaching children the movements of copulation.

Another product of the BZgA is a song book aimed at children of four and slightly older which includes several songs espousing masturbation. The song-book entitled "Nose, belly and bum" includes one song with the following lyrics: "When I touch my body, I discover what I have. I have a vagina, because I am a girl. Vagina is not only for peeing. When I touch it, I feel a pleasant tingle."

Millions of these leaflets are handed out free in Germany every year, so Germans cannot plead ignorance of what their government is doing.

It gets worse..

"Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex," reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds.

There seems to be something going wrong with all aspects of children and sex across the EU. Whatever happened to the child's right to innocence? Why are governments so keen to hasten the introduction of babies to sexual experience?

Is there any need to guess the reason ?

Paedophiles operate unchecked in many countries across Europe, places like Brussels and Portugal. Remember Madeleine McCann where they accused the parents, when Madeleine had been targeted and kidnapped by a gang to the order of a paedophile client. The truth will never be allowed to 'come out'.

In the Nederlands too, there are signs that paedophilia is now an activity openly approved of by the Judiciary. A political party was formed to promote paedophilia as a natural freedom. Another group 'No Kidding' brought a case to have the party's campaigning banned. The judge, however, held that a paedophile-promoting political party was good for Dutch democracy. See this article from 2006 which tells the story.

It seems that paedophiles are starting to control the political agendas in Europe (See the German Green Party below), from control of law enforcement, the agenda of sex education, and to succeed with their most earnest desire of all, that is to get hold of and use state power to get access to victims.

Perhaps the German Government would like to read The Victims' Story.

All those who want Brussels to rule their lives, might, for example, like to see how Brussels avoids prosecuting known paedophiles and murderers to protect the powerful. See HERE.

It seems that the motivation to get power in Europe is driven in large part by paedophiles, who have gradually worked their way into powerful positions, partly or even largely out of sexual desire for children. Through the EU they now have the ability to override all the defences that would otherwise be placed in the paedophiles' way.

Lisbon Treaty anyone ? Welcome to body-play for 3 year olds..

HOW THE STATE GETS ACCESS TO CHILDREN

EU regulations are demanding the creation of national databases of all children, so that they can be better 'looked after' by government. Here is an article on the British child database which is secretly created from your child's school records and from your child's medical records. That friendly health visitor who calls at your home is required to log the details of (usually) her visit into a database, which even she maybe doesn't realise potentially has other purposes, once the information is in the hands of others.

The EU is also setting up a bureau for the alleged 116000 children who go missing in the EU every year, all very laudable to try and find them, I would agree - except - the bureau is in fact called 'the missing and sexually exploited children bureau', with a remit to intervene in any situation where allegations are made by one citizen on another, so the children to be 'found' or apprehended don't even need to be missing.

This gives the paedophiles the power they seek to take children away from their families, based on mere allegation. These are the same governments who are legalising and encouraging paedophilia, and who do nothing to apprehend known paedophile traffickers and purveyors of child sex.

In future, the bureaucracy with the power to take your kids away from you, is run not from some agency managed locally which might possibly be negotiable to common sense, but from the European centre of child prostitution and abduction, Brussels itself. There are now even targets set as to the number of children which must be taken away from their families, at national and regional level by child regulatory bodies.

As for Brussels where all this supposedly benign interest in taking children away from their families originates, take this, for example, lifted from a tourist website of Brussels -

The law courts were constructed in the late 1800's. The building dwarfs all the surrounding structures and was built with a multitude of architectural styles. It was built on the site of the former town gallows. It also contains a memorial to the missing children of Belgium, which can't help but give you the shivers, especially if you are a parent.

Here are the pictures of the missing children of Brussels at the shrine maintained outside the Palais De Justice, the place where children never receive anything remotely close to justice, but merely a blank wall, as the paedophiles, who have derived their power from the EU, indulge their desires unchecked by the law.

There always seem to be quite a number of missing children in Brussels, from my own experience of working there in the past. Many signs are put up at tram stops across the city, like missing cats and dogs in Britain. They seem younger than the missing children notices you see in the US, who are often runaways.

This is a child sex industry operating unchecked by the courts or the police, protected at the highest levels of government. In Belgium, gangs have been known to pull babies out of strollers while their screaming mothers look on, the kids never to be seen again.

It gives you some idea what the EU are really trying to export around the EU.

They don't hide their programmes. People know of famous cases such as Marc Dutroux and Marilyn McCann but people are not yet adding two and two together and realising that paedophilia in the EU is no longer a crime, but exactly as the leaflet says, not only a permitted activity, but an obligation, approved by judges and politicians alike.

As is explained below, paedophilia is even approved now and made legal in the Lisbon Treaty.

EXTRACT from 'Missing Children Europe' Website -

Missing Children Europe is in fact called the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children.

As an umbrella organization, it represents 23 Non Governmental Organizations (NGO) active in 16 Member States of the European Union.

Each of these organizations is active in preventing child abductions and exploitation and in supporting victims at grassroots level.

(why does it need a large European bureaucracy to run child abuse across the whole of Europe? This should be a local issue only. There is known to be a significant threat of abuse from government and state officials and employees to the children they claim to be protecting, as victims who talk later in life know only too well)

NB Missing Children Europe is able to investigate when any citizen makes allegations of child abuse against another.  The children don't even need to be missing, before the state has the power to intervene, remove the child and carry out investigations.  The missing children don't even need to be missing.

FAMOUS PAEDOPHILES

From Belgium, the King denies attending paedophile parties HERE

Including MEPs from the European Parliament in Brussels. Take a look at the background of Danny Cohn Bendit MEP, the co-President of the Greens and the EFA.

While Fischer was more concerned with demonstrations, Cohn-Bendit worked in the Karl-Marx-Buchhandlung bookshop and ran a kindergarten (of children between five and eight years' old). Later in 2001 he was accused of paedophilia.

This accusation was grounded on the following citation from his 1975 book Le Grand Bazar, [1]: "On several occasions certain kids would open my fly and start to stroke me. I reacted differently according to circumstances, but their desire posed a problem for me. I asked them: 'Why don't you play together? Why have you chosen me, and not the other kids?' But if they insisted, I caressed them still.[2]"

On the 31 January 2001 in the Berlin newspaper [3] published open letter to Cohn-Bendit from the former German Foreign Minister, Klaus Kinkel, demanding Cohn-Bendit clarify whether there was actual physical contact with the children. The Berliner Zeitung published Cohn-Bendit's response. He said that he was "not aware of the problem" (“das Problem nicht bewusst”). "We tried," ..."a collective discourse of a new sexual morality yet to be defined"( “in einem kollektiven Diskurs eine neue Sexualmoral zu definieren”).

The reported sex scenes, were a "me-oriented self-reflection" (“ich-bezogene Selbstreflexion”). Cohn-Bendit, did not say there was no sexual contact with children. When interviewed on the 28 January 2001 by The Observer[4] Cohn-Bendit told the journalist, “I admit that what I wrote is unacceptable nowadays.”

In the 1980s the Greens experimented with various policies which would decriminalise sex with children. At its national conference in Lüdenscheid (March 1985) the Greens in North Rhine-Westphalia called for "nonviolent sexuality" between children and adults never to be subject to criminal prosecution. In 1987 the policy was "When young people have the desire for older peers outside the family, prevented either because their homosexuality is not accepted by their parents, or because they have paedophile inclinations, be it for other reasons, they must be given the opportunity to do so." [5].

How Are They Legalising Paedophilia?

The answer is that a very subtle change to the text of Article 21 of the Lisbon Treaty is enough.

This Article covers 'discrimination against sexual orientations', making it impermissible. In all Treaties prior to Lisbon, there was the same 'non-discrimination against sexual orientation' Article, but there was also a Protocol expressly excluding paedophilia from the list of sexual orientations.

In the Lisbon Treaty the Protocol is missing.

This will enable paedophiles to claim that their sexual orientation is now to be seen as permissible.

Watch a video explaining this device, and how it makes the Lisbon Treaty into a Paedophile's Charter. (I don't agree with the anti-Moslem section at the end of it)

AND FINALLY - It might not only be children who are victims of unstoppable state power. The old also might find themselves under pressure from euthanasia programmes. See HERE.

People simply haven't taken on board how life will never be the same once they have signed their lives and their childrens' lives away to the European Union. The consequences are so shocking as regards paedophilia being a primary part of the EU's programme that most people simply are not able to take it in, or even believe it. That, of course, is why they are getting away with it.

Read the words of Kate McCann wondering why Britain wants to be a part of a paedophile Europe where 100s of 1000s of children go missing every year -HERE

Extract - Child sexual exploitation and child pornography in particular, is sadly and shockingly extensive worldwide. It is a multi-billion dollar industry aided by the use of the Internet with the ‘thirst’ for younger victims growing. Once again, my ‘bubble’ of a life burst as I began to discover the facts relating to this now global crisis.

As we travelled through Europe in an attempt to raise awareness of Madeleine's abduction and appeal for help, we were repeatedly made aware of the unbelievable existence of such a horrifying activity and its vastness in our so called civilised and ‘child-loving’ society.

How can such ‘businesses’ be condoned or tolerated by us all? What are the benefits for our children of being in a European Union where several member countries offer child pornography as a LEGAL past time?

Lack of sex offender registers, lack of reliable tracking systems for known offenders and no CRB check requirements , not even for those working with children are other major areas of concern within many parts of Europe.

Even The Vatican is justifying paedophilia.  The Pope in his Christmas message 2005 shocked many paedophile victims of the Church with what he had to say.

The EU is setting up a bureau for the alleged 116000 children who go missing in the EU every year, all very laudable to try and find them, I would agree - except the bureau is in fact called 'the missing and sexually exploited children bureau', with a remit to intervene in any situation where allegations are made by one citizen on another, so the children to be 'found' or apprehended don't even need to be missing.

This gives the paedophiles the power they seek to take children away from their families, based on mere allegation. These are the same governments who are legalising and encouraging paedophilia, and who do nothing to apprehend known paedophile traffickers.

In future, the bureaucracy with the power to take your kids away from you, is run not from some agency managed locally which might possibly be negotiable to common sense, but from the European centre of child prostitution and abduction, Brussels itself.

Take this, for example, lifted from a tourist website of Brussels -

People know of famous cases such as Marc Dutroux and Marilyn McCann but people are not yet adding two and two together and realising that paedophilia in the EU is no longer a crime, but exactly as the leaflet says, not only a permitted activity, but an obligation.

Missing Children Europe is the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children.

(In the USA the equivalent organisation to help parents find their missing kids was set up by parents whose kids were missing to help others in the same situation. In Europe the state has taken over the role, and private people are not permitted to help themselves. All state bureaucracies 'assisting' children are targeted by paedophiles seeking a safe haven to operate from.)

How Will They Legalise Paedophilia?

The answer is that a very subtle change to the text of Article 21 of the Lisbon Treaty will be enough.

If you are wondering why the McCann story disappeared and why, just consider how powerful the EU is, and how they don't want people to know the truth about the EU and paedophilia.

UPDATE - Harriet Harman was in favour of watering down Child Pornography laws. See Telegraph HERE.

Irish YES Campaign Make Monkeys Of Themselves

The best way to decide if you are hurting your political enemies with your campaign material is to see what kind of response they make, if any. On that basis, the COIR Campaign can see clearly that the YES side is rattled. And they can be sure beyond doubt that it is their poster campaign that has hurt the YES side the most.

See these hastily assembled, almost entirely ineffective (what discernible message do they give?) posters from the YES campaign, in the sense of talking inwardly rather than outwardly. The monkey going nuts is how the COIR campaign have made the YES campaign feel. This is displacement psychology for all to see.

It shows that the YES side are more concerned in belittling the COIR's NO campaign than in getting their own message across. It shows that the YES side have given up on their own message at this stage to express anger.

It is even promoting their opponents and giving them public attention. BIG MISTAKE.

LEGEND - 'Are COIR driving you nuts?' WEAK WEAK WEAK.

And remember that most people are only taking the quickest of looks and the pictures are always seen first before the words. A quick look puts a monkey adjacent to the word LISBON. Anyone could mistake it for a poster trivialising Lisbon.

This is how it's done -

Anyway, who's calling who monkeys ? !

Cowen's a fine figure of a man, with animal appeal, you could say !

I'd hang on to your nuts, if I was you, Biffo. Just as the hurricane said to the palm tree, 'Hold on to your nuts. This is no ordinary blow-job', so too could this referendum send a cold blast coming straight in your direction.

Last Picture from ocaoimh.ie/the-naked-brain-cowan/ (should be cowen?)

UPDATE - IRISH TIMES - Today.

It seems the own goal has been spotted and the Dublin City Council is removing the 'NO To NUTS' posters. Story from Irish Times.

Several prominent Yes groups and campaigners have denied responsibility for a series of anti-Cóir posters, depicting a monkey holding a placard emblazoned with the words “No to Nuts”, and including the message “Are Cóir driving you nuts, Vote Yes to Lisbon”.

The posters, which were erected along several of the capital’s busiest thoroughfares last week, have been taken down by Dublin City Council.

Mr Greene declined to speculate as to who was behind the posters but said he believed they represented “a huge own goal for the Yes side” as they were deeply offensive to people who suffered from psychiatric illness.

He said he was concerned that Cóir posters were being taken down illegally across the country, especially in Dublin and Cork, and that the group had made a formal complaint to the Garda.

Cóir said it was planning to spend about €250,000 on some 11,000 posters and up to one million leaflets.

It sounds like the YES side are getting very rattled indeed!

Conservatives Will Rebel Against Ratified Lisbon

The Telegraph's article today, carrying the interview with William Hague, Shadow Foreign Secretary, has a misleading and unhelpful title - William Hague on the Lisbon Treaty: the EU question that goes unanswered.

In the interview Hague states what he will do in each of the circumstances that may occur in turn, giving more detail than he had previously, changing the Party's policy in important details.

There is, as Hague points out, not one answer to 'what will you do about Lisbon, Mr Hague?', as the Telegraph seems to demand. There are a minimum of two. One if the Treaty fails to be ratified, and one if it is ratified.

Then there is the question of timing. Is it sensible to declare a policy before knowing which of the various possible circumstances are to come about? And if it is sensible, when will the policy be declared?

All that is clearly far too complicated for the Daily Telegraph to cope with, so an accusation of not answering the question, is made, to keep things nice and simple.

Look at what Hague actually said.

A.1 If the Treaty is fully ratified

If the treaty is ratified before the election, he and the Tory leader will issue an immediate statement setting out the way forward. It is being drafted even now.
When it comes, you will be left in no doubt that we mean business, he says.

B. If the Treaty is not fully ratified

Mr Hague wants proponents of the treaty to accept that ratification before Britain votes (General Election) is no longer the certainty it once was.

The Czech Republic has just launched a constitutional review of the treaty that may take six months at least;

Poland has yet to ratify;

and while a "yes" vote in next week's Irish referendum seems likely, it is not guaranteed.

Then he adds something else new -

It is for the promoters of the European constitution to say what they would do if at the 11th hour it is killed stone dead by a resounding "no".

That is a change in emphasis from previous policy, seemingly not noticed by The Telegraph. It was previously stated that if the Treaty is not ratified by the election, and the Conservatives win power, they would simply call an immediate referendum.

Now Hague says that he would wait to see what new proposals are going to be made by the EU.

It is of course going to be more complicated than just holding a referendum in any case - a referendum about what exactly?.

If the Treaty is already acknowledged as dead, why go to the lengths of holding a referendum to unratify a dead Treaty?

Note again that Hague did answer the question.

But the Telegraph is determined to batter out its 'Hague's not answering the question' narrative come what may...

For the moment Mr Hague has no direction to offer on the questions that remain unanswered: will there be a referendum come what may?

Mr Hague will not answer the question. Until we know the fate of the treaty, it is all too hypothetical...

HAGUE - "We can only have one policy at a time. This is our policy in this situation.

The treaty has not been ratified by all 27 nations and in that situation a Conservative government elected at the next general election will hold as an immediate priority a referendum.

I have asked the Foreign Office to have a referendum bill ready immediately after the election." A referendum would be held "within a few months".

So again there is a change in Hague's answer from his previous statements. 'immediately' has become 'immediate priority' to happen within 'a few months', and that, in any case, a referendum will depend on what if any new proposals the EU will make.

If the EU has not acknowledged that Lisbon is dead, and is still attempting a full ratification, then Hague sounds as if he would hold a referendum to undo Britain's ratification. But it's complicated. The EU might simply park the Treaty, and the Lisbon battle is over, so there would be no need to have a referendum anyway.

Ireland

Ireland votes next Friday, days before the Tory conference opens in Manchester. "It is important to be clear. As we can only have one policy at a time, there will be no new announcement, no departure from that in Manchester, whatever the result of the Irish referendum."

Maybe the Telegraph's problem, like many others, is believing that a referendum is a policy in itself. A referendum is not a policy, but a democratic device to put a policy into effect. They write -

What is evident is that he is unable to give a clear commitment that we will get a referendum, come what may. Whichever way you package the question, he bats it away.

Hague's answers on policy are clear enough. It's The Telegraph that's muddled.

Here is Hague's statement on what the Conservatives plan if Lisbon is fully ratified -

A.2. If in the coming months all other obstacles are cleared and the treaty comes into force, Mr Cameron will not wait any longer. "We would set out what we would do in that contingency and it would be in our manifesto to seek a mandate for it.

That sounds clear enough and is an answer, which goes well beyond the previous form of words which were - we would not let matters rest there.

But again The Telegraph seems not interested.

The Telegraph

Is the Telegraph really as muddled as it likes to appear, or just trying to cast the Conservatives in a poor light?

The media's game generally is undoubtedly to promote UKIP as an alternative to the Conservatives and pull Cameron's vote down. By sheer coincidence, advertised on the same page as Hague's interview is another interview, but this time with UKIP's Nigel Farage MEP, titled 'It's Our Country. Let's Run It'.

There are no awkward questions placed with Nigel Farage such as his membership of the Federalist Freedom & Democracy Group in the EP, or about his Federalist UKIP South East MEP colleague Marta Andreasen, or his £2 million unaccounted for EU expenses. There seems to be a lack of even handedness breaking out in this newspaper, worthy of the BBC.

It looks like the Telegraph will be Ukipping all the way to the General Election.

They will allow them to appear to be withdrawalists, without asking any detailed questions at all. As for Hague, let's face it. The one thing he does do with questions is answer them and very intelligently too. The problem is only that the media don't want to listen carefully to his answers, and has other agendas.

See Telegraph.

David Cameron Describes The State Of Britain

This country is in the worst mess it's been in for a generation. Unemployment is rising and youth unemployment is at its highest level since records began. Violent crime has increased by 70 per cent under Labour and there are more than 100 serious knife crimes every day. The poor are getting poorer, social mobility has stalled, and four in ten children are leaving primary school unable to read, write and add up properly.

In another twenty years, no one will be able to count the number of murders and robberies, or even read about them. That's Labour's solution. Build up crime. Dumb down the mind. Cameron will need a landslide and to quit the EU to get control of Britain to do the things he needs to do.

I believe he will.

Anger Overcomes Fear To Defeat Lisbon In Ireland

The two Irish referendum campaigns are assuming different characteristics. The YES campaign is focused entirely on economics - with its 'Yes To Lisbon, Yes To Jobs' appeal to the pocket. The NO campaign is far less rational, but no less powerful for that. If the primary emotion in the first Lisbon Referendum NO campaign was confusion, and its attendant fear, this time anger is the force driving the NO campaign onwards to victory.

Take this news story from yesterday. ‘Taoiseach forced to take cover in tent as protest turns ugly’ An anti-Lisbon protest at the Ploughing Championships turned nasty yesterday as protesters attempted to push their way towards Taoiseach Brian Cowen.

See HERE.

It was only a few days ago that the Gael Poll reported that the two sides were dividing between those who would vote YES saying they were basing their decision primarily on jobs, and the NO voters who were angry at loss of freedoms.

Yesterday with the vote only a week away, the Taoiseach finds that he can no longer walk freely amongst his own people. He looks shocked.

The EU has always asked its citizens to vote away their freedoms for supposed economic advantages. Now it seems that the certainty of the loss of freedom is scoring harder with people than their belief in any more economic promises, which have, in any case, been seriously undermined by the credit crisis.

See the details of the Gael Poll report, as from www.libertas.eu

One interesting insight that the pollsters gleaned were the variety of ‘off the radar’ reasons why people intend to vote No:

“Frankly a lot of the personalities who are fronting the Yes campaign don’t appear to be very popular and a lot of people have commented upon this.”

“Apart from the obvious well known issues, we found that people were very concerned about the curtailment of alternative medicines and the banning of turf cutting to the over-preponderance of EU flags and emblems. If you were to boil it down to core emotions, No voters tend to be enraged and up for a fight whereas Yes voters tend to be motivated by economic fears,” explained Paul Murphy.

This pattern of events was confirmed by the COIR Campaign canvass reports - as follows

“The anger at the handling of the economic crisis is overcoming the fear kindled by the Yes campaign in relation to the downturn,” said spokesman Richard Greene.

He added that supporters of the Treaty had “overplayed the fear card” saying that “all the fear-mongering has worn thin and people are asking real questions at the doors – about jobs, wages, the power of the EU Court and our future in Europe.” Mr Greene noted that last week’s Wall Street Journal had described the government’s pro-Lisbon campaign as “peddling phantom terrors”.

“People have been listening to politicians falsely warning of financial ruin if the treaty wasn’t passed, but now the anger felt by voters at NAMA, at job losses, and at cuts, is allowing voters to overcome that fear,” said the Cóir spokesman.

It is growing and unabated anger which is driving the EU's New Constitution towards defeat in Ireland. The evidence is undeniable. The Taoiseach's government can only have days left to survive,it appears as he has to be shepherded away from his angry public. If Lisbon is defeated a second time, as seems likelier by the day, Cowen's unpopular government will quickly tumble.

Irish NO Campaign Plays Its Charms

Emerald Elvis (real name Mark Leen) tells the EU To 'Return Lisbon To Sender' in a musical tribute to Elvis Presley's original 'Return To Sender'.

He sings unequivocably ' We're voting NO'.

Lyrics such as We voted No to it, but this treaty keeps coming back are accompanied right through with original 'Return To Sender' soundtrack, Elvis hip rotation and four part harmonies, while a slightly nervous-looking placard-carrying quadret looks on. This is not karaoke, but as good an Elvis tribute as you will ever hear.

(Mark Leen is well known in Las Vegas where he performs as The Emerald Elvis, as well as around the clubs at home)

Taking the COIR Campaign smouldering poster (below) and Emerald Elvis' hip-rolling dance number, what's interesting, to the politically-minded, is the lack of speech or text, in either message. Just singing and graphics alone are enough to convey the NO message.

The airwaves have been bought by the corrupt and the powerful, and the younger, sexier, more talented displaced NO campaigners now speak with other voices.

It's always interesting to see a political message depart from the mainstream media, which has happened before of course, but not so often is it that a political message can be conveyed even without speech.

It's the age-old way for suppressed political movements to go - to express rebellion, youth, hope and identity in other ways. By banning the NO campaign from the media, the YES side have, in effect, tried to make NO illegal, which has the effect of making NO the sexiest possible thing to say, do, draw, sing or wear...silently, powerfully ignoring the ugly and corrupt media bullies that try to control every thought in Irish minds.

It's like the NO are saying 'we don't even need to speak to you, but we easily recognise each other, our ageless and timeless Celtic identity. We know the score, musical, political, and we're going to sing our tune, not yours.

The corrupt and powerful think they've got us, but they ain't. We're the Irish, for God's sake - WINK !'

Was a cry for freedom ever sexier or more charming ? Not that I've ever seen.

COIR Says NO is Pulling Ahead

This is the first claim made on the Coir website about the success of their campaign. There is no reason to disbelieve it. The rationale for the NO gaining ground that it gives, reads as if it's well thought through, intelligent and genuine, in my opinion.

It provides a confirming story to back up the result of The Gael Poll, and gives a good description of what's going on at street level.

From the COIR website today -

Cóir have welcomed the result of a poll carried out by Gael Poll which found that, after weeks of intensive campaigning, the No vote has pulled ahead.

Gael Poll say they polled 1,500 respondents in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Kilkenny, Galway, Athlone, Tralee, Dundalk and Letterkenny over the course of six days last week. The respondents were asked one single question: How do you intend to vote in the Lisbon Treaty Referendum? Excluding Don’t Knows, 59% replied No while 41% said they would vote Yes to the treaty.

Campaigners right across the country canvassing with Cóir say that the poll comes close to their own experience that the No vote is pulling ahead in defiance of the “dire threats being made by supporters of the treaty” as Cóir’s campaign intensifies in the last 10 days before the referendum.

“Voters are more informed thanks to the huge canvass we’ve undertaken, and the popularity of Cóir’s website. And the anger at the handling of the economic crisis is overcoming the fear kindled by the Yes campaign in relation to the downturn,” said spokesman Richard Greene.

“We’re presenting the facts about the treaty to voters; about threats to wages, to jobs, about our loss of power in Europe, and the ability to the EU to raise taxes on us, and people are increasingly telling us at the doors that they will vote No”.

German Ratification Delayed ?

Today's Open Europe writes, sourced from The Irish Times -

The Irish Times reports that a fresh constitutional challenge to the Treaty, that could delay Berlin's ratification until after Ireland's referendum, was lodged on Monday, which argued that laws created to allow ratification of the Treaty in Germany do not sufficiently guarantee the role of the constitutional court as "guardian of the constitution".

UPDATE - The latest challenge in court has already been rejected. Germany will ratify.

More Evidence Of EUtopian Bitterness And Desperation

Just as the polls in Ireland at last provide evidence that the NO side will win the Referendum in Ireland, and as it becomes clear that Vaclav Klaus in the Czech Republic will not be signing the Lisbon Treaty any time soon , the rhetoric from the EUtopians gets ever more desperate.

If Ireland is saying NO, and Klaus successfully blocks Lisbon, it is almost certain that David Cameron will be able to carry out his promise to hold a Referendum on The Lisbon Treaty in Britain. Lisbon, in truth the EU Constitution, after so many years of preparation is destined to crash.

The bitterness of the EUtopians is spilling out, confirming through their words and actions, the deathly prognosis for the EU's shiny 'new' Constitution, no doctor able to revive her. The dream was never meant to end like this !

The official sulking in Sweden, the shifty manoeuvring of journalists in London is now matched by the most ludicrous tactic of all - Liberal Democrat politicians accusing David Cameron and William Hague of grievous imaginary social crimes.

They have as yet done nothing as regards Lisbon, except state that if the Treaty fails to be ratified, they will be offering Britons a choice through a Referendum as to their preferences for Britain's future relationship with the EU.

They withdrew the Conservatives from the EPP in the European Parliament, and set up the ECR - European Conservative & Reformist Group, dedicated to ending the federalist programme.

But that was all very recent.

The failure of the Treaty cannot be easily laid at their door.

They are only trying to start the process of working out what will come next, once the Treaty has failed, which now seems inevitable.

Conservative Home today describes extraordinarily bitter attacks from the Liberal Democrats (who lied about offering a referendum on a Constitutional Treaty in 2005) focused on the setting up of the ECR -

Chris Huhne, the party's Home Affairs spokesman, is to make a speech later in which he will claim that "a vote for the Tories is a vote for more crime", according to the Daily Mirror.

But that's not the half of it. Michael Crick reported on last night's Newsnight that Huhne will go on to make a highly personal attack on William Hague in relation to the new European Conservatives and Reformists grouping in the European Parliament.

Crick said (17 minutes and 30 seconds into last night's programme) that Huhne will describe William Hague as "a skinhead who has gone round the beer cellars of Europe and come up with the dregs".

That's the language of a loser, and a bitter loser, if you will pardon the pun !

Taking all of the signs coming from EUtopians in all countries, there must be little doubt now that the EU Constitution with all its pomp, circumstance and sheer arrogance is now possessed of terminal illness. You only have to hear them talking to see their desperation.

Maybe Hague should send flowers and donations to a suitable charity. I doubt he'll be invited to attend the funeral.

PICTURED - The object of Chris Huhne and the EUtopians' venom, William 'skinhead' Hague in the House Of Commons. At top Mr Bitter himself, Chris Huhne, Lib Dem MEP earning Brownie points in Brussels, but not making a blind bit of difference to anything else.

Do The Irish Want A British President?

A new book written by journalist Adam Boulton suggests that 'Lord Mandelson is merely 'propping up' Mr Brown to make sure the EU's Lisbon Treaty is approved next month (in Ireland) and that, as a result, his friend and ally Mr Blair becomes the EU's first all-powerful President.

The claim of Blair's Presidency depending on an EU deal is not new, but coming from Adam Boulton, gives it far more credibility, as he is a 'New' Labour insider.

In the 2005 general election, he promised that there would be a referendum on the Constitutional Treaty in his manifesto before Britain signed its ratification. Then the Treaty had its name changed to The Lisbon Treaty, and Blair made way for Gordon Brown, making the trail back to the manifesto promise hard to argue.

The Brown accession to Prime Ministership appeared to be some kind of a fix at the time. Brown immediately went to Brussels to sign The Lisbon Treaty as his first act, and whipped it through the Commons as fast as his little legs could carry him.

All he had to do then was cruise through to the longest possible next election date, ensuring The Lisbon Treaty was ratified across the rest of Europe before the Conservatives could win power, and his and Blair's side of the bargain was sealed.

British euroscepticism had, it seemed, been neatly side-stepped.

In the original deal, no doubt it was Blair who was intended by the EU to close out the Tories, but it was the ambition of his jealous sideman Brown, who wanted a piece of the Lisbon action, that felled Blair before he could could deliver Britain in person. In any case he had procured Brown to do his work for him.

President Blair's new palace, waiting for him in Brussels.

Blair could collect high office in Europe, following in the Kinnock/Mandelson tradition, whereby British national 'traitors' are assured of deification, riches, and soft media coverage for life. Brown was simply not prepared to see all the prizes go to Blair, thinking that he too should be considered for reward and position.

The EU was happy to share the spoils between Blair and Brown, thinking at the moment they agreed that Blair could go, that the whole thing was academic by then anyway. They had two Prime Ministers, secretly working for the EU, not one.

The Irish Dimension

The Irish Referendum seemed to be in the bag, as how could the Irish of all people vote NO to a European Treaty? (they had rejected NICE once, but since then Ireland had become the wealthiest country in Europe.)

At the moment of supreme arrogance, which Lisbon engendered, the EU thought they had stitched up the deal, British eurosceptics were neutralised and Lisbon was assured.

But then came the banking crisis.

This turned the minds of most people in Europe from moderate optimism to pessimism and fear. The Irish were suddenly converted from bloated pigeons into starving hawks, eager to express their anger at their corrupt government, where previously they didn't much care, as debt endlessly pumped up the value of their houses.

In Britain, the Lehman/Sub-Prime crisis, and Britain's mini-version of the Northern Rock, and other banks running to the Bank of England for funds, have put Brown under the kind of pressure he is simply unable to take. He is now eating anti-depressant pills, and must be close to a complete breakdown, as Guido's blog constantly relates.

The signs of distress are everywhere. Harriet Harman is warming up her leadership ambitions. Blair and Mandelson are now openly saying 'Brown is a quitter', and that he might not even stand at the general election. They're trying to pull the plug, and let Brown's water out, but he in turn seems determined to carry on to the grim death.

Ireland's Vote Will Be Crucial For The Blairs

If the EU doesn't sort out Britain in its favour, their fear is that an election might be forced earlier than planned. EU fears that Lisbon will be lost are palpable, and they are hoping Blair can somehow put it all back together for them. He, in turn, is anxious to collect his prize. He has been preparing his ground a long time, including converting to catholicism. But without Lisbon ratified, the position of President, to which he so much aspires, will not exist.

The vote in Ireland on October 2nd will be crucial to what happens. If it's YES, then the EU will relax a little about Brown. If it's NO, they will move in on him, and try to orchestrate a safer and stronger pair of hands into Number 10, while a new stitch-up is attempted for Ireland, before British elections can take place.

The Irish, however, should consider that they are also part of this deal, which in the end, when all is said and done, is intended to deliver an ex-British Prime Minister to, in effect, become 'President of Ireland'.

I doubt they would really want that, if they knew, and many more would vote NO.

The Irish should read this story, as it is their future being played out behind closed doors in London and Brussels as much as Britain's. See HERE.

A 2nd Irish NO vote would probably not be the final end of the Lisbon game-plan, but at least, it would be seriously delayed. From the Irish viewpoint, it would also provide the satisfaction of felling Blair, Mandelson and Brown's EU ambitions, removing British influence from Dublin and Brussels.

Once Cameron is elected, all the offers of high EU positions would be made to compliant Conservatives, and yet Cameron seems decidedly disinterested in receiving EU largesse.

With The Lisbon Treaty shelved, and Cameron holding a referendum in Britain, whatever version of itself the EU manages to create next, the one thing you can say for sure is that it will be a far less British-orientated one.

But if on the other hand, Lisbon gets a YES in Ireland this time around, sanctimonious, self-serving and high-handed President Blair and his First Lady, can prepare to lord it worldwide, and Ireland like Britain will have no choice but to chew on it - their £15 million unexplained fortune and string of dubiously acquired properties safely under their belts.

Will Ireland be forced to pay homage to Europe's new royalty? Isn't this exactly what Ireland should never do?

See the slogan below from the times of Ireland's Independence struggles from Britain. Have the Irish finally surrendered to European power? I doubt it!!

'We Serve Neither King Nor Kaiser, But Ireland'.

This is surely the way the Irish want to remain. They played the European game and made a fortune, but now is surely the time for them to quit. Political and economic payback time is fast approaching.
